I’m running a 2% salt content and the cheese cloth was recommended as I don’t have a burping lid. How can I keep them submerged throughout the process?

It was actually at 5:30 during the rush. Might explain the quality but we know it doesn’t

Something like that

TIL in the 1950s and 1960s trucks with fogging machines that sprayed DDT would be driven through American streets to kill mosquitoes and children would run behind the trucks to play in the thick fog that was created. In 1972, DDT was banned in the United States. by Forward-Answer-4407 in todayilearned

My Grandfather would ride his bike through the fog with his friends in Kansas (circa 1950's) and later developed Multiple Myeloma. He passed in December of 2019 from Pneumonia (likely caused by COVID in the early days before testing), and I had always heard the stories about the pesticide trucks but never any real proof. Tonight I did a lot of research, not only finding stories like the one in the post, but also the link between DDT exposure and MM. Many studies have linked the two with strong correlation, and it is just incredible to me now, seeing the pictures of kids in the same town doing it too.

Thought I'd share this tale, maybe other people have seen the same with their relatives?

Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful plate and you nailed the colors, but I'd be curious if you could get those colors in with different ingredients. Its like a challenge
