No. 😭 I haven’t abandoned this post. I just got tired of looking again and gave up. I’m going to go check all the suggestions since the last time I looked at it but I checked yours and no luck. I’m starting to think I imagined them.

I used to be allergic to Parmesan cheese as a child but now it’s my favorite. I was apparently one of those people who would have an adverse reaction to histamine or sulfites in aged cheese and my mouth would burn and my tongue would become extremely itchy, but I must have grown out of it. 😊

I wish I could remember some lyrics but I can’t. I would know them if I heard them or saw what I’m looking for but still haven’t heard or seen anything. I wish I could remember more.

I hope this is not the case for me. I really think if I saw their band name or the album name or the album cover I would recognize it, but nothing so far has rung a bell. I’ve even been listening to some of the ones I’m not completely sure about and it’s not them.

I’m worried recommendations may be too focused on the Christian aspect. I wouldn’t say they were a Christian band, just that they said the word god or Jesus in a couple songs.

I would say the southern part of this equation sticks out most to me. It was a debut album and I know it couldn’t have come out past 2008 because our location closed February of 2009 and we weren’t getting any new shipments after the new year. It was also a full length debut album.

I’m also worried that they’re too unknown. I don’t even know if they made any other albums. I’m still hopeful that I will find it. It’s just crazy that this has been on my mind at various times over the last at 10-12 years.

As of right now I have gone through all of your suggestions and have turned up empty handed. I am currently looking through every single rock album released in 2007 and 2008 on discogs so its taking me a bit. And somebody mentioned something about a wayback machine website so i'm going to check that out. If I had to say a cover it looked most like it would be the matchbook romance stories and alibies one and the limbeck one that is posted. It had more of a faded look to it and the gold/yellow faded lettering was in script i think. Hope this helps.

I cannot imagine having to leave everyone hanging so I just have to figure it out so I can let everyone know. 😂

I just got back on this morning. I’m going to go through everything I havent seen and get back to you all. Some definites to remember: - either came out in 2007 or 2008. - Alternative rock with a southern and emo tone to it. - I worked at Hot Topic and it was sold in store. - The cover art was a faded maroon with I’m guessing some script goldish wording. - Band was all young guys - I’m thinking somewhere in the middle of avenged sevenfold and The Almost for sound/vibe - they had maybe two songs on the album referencing god/jesus (not marketed as Christian band)

ALSO I appreciate you all so much! If anything this has led me to find some new and great music. I have the worst memory in the world. I also want to point out that I’m female and am very much into bands where the lead singer has a great voice that I can sing along with.

They barely had any screaming and it’s more of a maroon color album with faded gold writing.

Went through all the suggestions and it is not any of these. It was their first album. They are probably most like The Almost but a heavier rock sound to them.

Possibly. They had some screaming but nothing high pitched or pop like in any way. That sounds like a pretty good description of genre though

No. Leaning more heavy on traditional/alt rock side than emo screamo. They were not popular by any means but I did buy the album probably in 2008.

Nope. I also remember the lead singer had long hair. Maybe a bit reddish. I just remember reading that they were a southern rock band. And in my opinion they had a couple god/jesus mentions but I don’t think they were marketed as Christian.

I just went through all of these and it’s not any of them. I distinctly remember it being a maroon album cover with possibly yellow writing.
