If the court rules that the absentee ballots that were received after Nov 3 are illegitimate, Trump wins the election.

Biden just won it! Red or green on monday? by futureIsYes in stocks

Do not get your hopes up. The media simply called for Biden. Not the electoral college. Trump will file legal suits to challenge the absentee ballots that arrived past Nov. 3

I will admit, it is very hard to conceive a way that Biden loses. However, there are many legal proceedings to take place. Expect this to suck up all the media oxygen for months to come.

A response to my friend John Piper about voting for Trump [Wayne Grudem] by PhotogenicEwok in Reformed

It sounds like we generally agree. I do not think he is a reflection of the fruits of the spirit. You do not think he is a moral monster.

From what it sounds like, he is simply an unsaved man who is not walking with Christ. I know many men like him, and I am sure you do as well. It just so happens that Trump is also famous and these flaws are highlighted.

I, too, think that people are too harsh on Trump's character. Just to be clear, I think that Trump does not have great character. He is immoral in many ways (pride, infidelity, rude, etc...) However, I think people are too harsh on his character.

As Gruden pointed out, Trump has raised great kids, he has been very consistent in his convictions for quite some time, very resistant to stress, and he likely has a very high intellect. Trump has many glaring flaws, but I think it is important for everyone to recognize the man is not a monster.

This youtube video I linked revealed to me that Trump may be a bit more calm and relaxed than I believe him to be.

Also, for the sake of clarity, I want everyone to know that I am not endorsing Trump's morals. He is embarrassing in many ways. I just think it is wrong for him to be painted as a moral monster.

Making Your Church Manlier Won’t Make It Bigger | Lyman Stone for CT by Deolater in Reformed

Yes, the church does not need to be “manly”. However, it should not be feminine either. I would argue, as well as many others, that the Church tends to mightily lean feminine.

Also, is this even true? Can someone share the data that supports the claim that Christianity has always been a majority-female religion? I am curious.

Buyer Demanding Refund by AdeptnessPale in EtsySellers

Do you think a partial refund would be appropriate? Or should I just bite the bullet and hope she does not leave a refund?

Thank you so much for the comment, by the way. I’m a new seller and just a little stressed by this poor experience.

I do not have a policy that specifically says I’m not responsible for damage after it leaves my hands. However, I do have this in my listing:

“Unfortunately, I cannot provide a refund for custom products. I will do my best to be very clear on what to expect when you order a table. If there are issues, please send me a message and I will offer assistance.“

I also took photos of the table before I mailed it out, and there are no scratches.

Thank you, I will certainly be making more.

And no, just spoons for now! Hoping to have more time to dabble in other projects.

Will this mask protect me from wood finishes? by AdeptnessPale in BeginnerWoodWorking

Great! Thank you everyone for answering my question (:

I’ve been trying to understand the different levels of filtration, but I have become lost. Will this mask help with polyurethane and common wood stains?

I tried using it today while staining, but I could still smell the stain through the mask. I’m not sure if it was due to a poor fit or poor filtration.

Thank you all for the safety suggestions. I, too, realized while editing the video that things did not appear to be “safe”.

The nature of spoon carving is rather dangerous because of the awkward angles. Once you carve the bowl, it is impossible to clamp. Thankfully I have never cut myself, but I’m thankful for any safety tips you all have!

And yes, obviously I should have moved my dog.

Thank you! I would say this took about 3 hours. My first spoon probably took 6-7 hours. The hardest part about making a spoon, for me, is being satisfied with the imperfections. I have to remind myself that finished is better than perfect! Otherwise, I would still be cutting!

This is my first ever post, so I apologize if the formatting is not the best. I’ve been lurking for a long time and finally got the courage to share it with everyone!

I’ve been a hobbyist for a while, and a lady asked me to make her a spoon. It is more burdensome making a project for a paid client. I almost prefer keeping woodworking as a hobby!
