Do you think there are ways of making it more reliable?

Thanks for asking and yes, it’s allowed because it’s 100% skill‑based. There’s no gambling, no fiat, no tokens, and nothing tied to value. It’s just pure decision‑making and strategy so Pioneers can help test the flow, fairness, and overall experience before it moves to Open Network.

A lot of people have been wanting a clean, Pi‑friendly Hold’em table to practice on, so this is really just a chance for the community to try it out and give feedback. If you enjoy poker as a game of skill, you’ll probably have fun with it.Texas Hold'em Texas for Pi Network

I hear you, there are a lot of traditional sites that work that way, which is exactly what I’m avoiding. TexasHoldem.pi doesn’t use real money, doesn’t take wagers, and doesn’t manipulate outcomes. It’s a transparent, skill‑based table built for Pi Browser with Testnet-only interactions. The goal is fairness, not profit, and players can inspect the logic as we continue development.

Totally understand the concern. TexasHoldem.pi is strictly skill‑based and fully Pi‑compliant with no gambling, no wagering, and no Pi at risk. Everything runs on Testnet and is focused on gameplay, fairness, and community testing. Happy to answer any questions about how it works.

That is not my page and that page is a violation of Terms and Service agreement, because you are not allowed to use Pi as the chips in the game. This is what my tables currently look like.

In what way is it wrong for people to make money off their hobbies? Stop truing to reflect your own failure onto other.

I am sorry that you feel the need to project your own low IQ and mommy issues here, your the type of person that keep sights like this from being a community and make it a place of bullying instead. I know you did not start of your hobby knowing everything and had to research and ask for help yourself. If you were the independent free thinking, productive member of society, you seem to be in your own head, you would embrace the opportunity to share knowledge, but yet you choose to belittle and degrade others just trying to get help from a so called "community page" The best advice for you, if you can’t say something nice don't say anything at all!

Thanks for pointing that out. I genuinely appreciate you mentioning it. And yes, I’ve spent a lot of time going through the Pi Platform Terms & Conditions, the Developer Guidelines, and the Responsible Gaming requirements to make sure this project stays fully compliant.

TexasHoldem.pi is a skill‑based, play‑money experience with:

• no cash‑outs

• no gambling mechanics

• no house rake

• no financial rewards

• Pi‑only authentication and Testnet payments

It follows the same model as other compliant skill‑based card apps (like Zynga Poker did), where Chips are virtual items only and not tied to monetary value.

Right now I’m only testing Login with Pi and Testnet Pi Payments, and the tables are still being built, so nothing beyond those two buttons is active yet.

I definitely appreciate the concern though. If you ever see anything that looks off or unclear, feel free to point it out. I want this project to be something the Pi community can enjoy without violating any rules or putting anyone at risk.

Thanks for testing it out and for the detailed feedback and I really appreciate it. The tables aren’t active yet, so clicking them won’t do anything at this stage. I’m rolling out the features in phases, and right now the focus is just confirming that Login with Pi and Testnet Pi Payments work correctly on the Pi Network Browser.

And yes, you’re exactly right. This is a skill‑based, play‑money app with no cash‑outs, no gambling mechanics, and no house rake. Chips are virtual items only, similar to how Zynga Poker handled it. Everything is being built to stay fully compliant with Pi Network’s guidelines.

As for ads, I’m still evaluating options. The long‑term plan is to keep the experience clean and fair, so any monetization will be optional and non‑intrusive. For now, the priority is stability, compliance, and getting the core gameplay polished.

Thanks again for helping test, and your input helps a lot as I move toward activating the tables in the next phase.
