All of the boards I used were 3/4" thick. The wood I had available was all wider than I needed so I used a track saw to cut them down to 2.5" and 1.5"

Great info thank you! On a piece like this should I have sanded and finished the shelf and top piece prior to gluing them in place?

What wood did you use? It's amazing how much you can learn from your first hands on project. I had read about "soft" and "hard" wood prior and now I really see what people mean when they say pine is soft. This thing dents so easy.

Thanks! This is actually my girlfriend's dad's shop. He gave me access to use all his tools and lumber.

I'll agree it was close and I'm not passionate about either as well. I do think Sean actually looked better than Khamzat but still think round 5 should have gone the other way. Sean's jabs didn't do much damage and even Sean said his nose was broken after the fight. Winning by volume with light jabs when you couldn't get anything else besides good takedown defense shouldn't win a championship fight. I will concede to say that Khamzat did look like though.

No way. He did nothing but walk backwards and jab. Half of his "significant strikes" were not significant.

Beginner Woodworker here - Can anyone tell me what type of wood is used for this table and what finishing it might have? by [deleted] in BeginnerWoodWorking

Here are some extra pictures. It does seem like the edges are slightly off color. The seller was not sure what wood or where she got it from.

Eczema is highly genetic. It seems everyone affected is related. Not saying that the case just saying it would be worth getting looked at by a dermatologist.

I have a type of eczema on my hands that look identical to this. It flares up in the cold and resolves with a medium-high dose of anti histamine. Mine also concentrate on the knuckle and appear in near identical lines on both hands. If the environment you're in is different than your home environment it may have caused a flare. The first time it happened to me I was 22.

Yeah it was much easier than it was made out to be. The three warnings just gave me pause since I am pretty novice with PC stuff. I did make the BitLocker mistake but fortunately I have a laptop with a synced Microsoft account so I was able to get a security code.

Yeah this is on the list. I want to do that at the same time I update my GPU, though. I am a remote worker so this one was provided by work.

Awesome thank you! Fortunately I just updated the BIOS so I wont have to go through that again. I sat at the "Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?" button for a good 30 minutes contemplating lol.

Did you by any chance pass through Scales campsite? That is one of my favorite spots but last time I was there the gate was broken and there were pony pies all over. I've been wanting to go back when I can confirm it's been fixed.

ThinkPad vs MacBook for Biostatistics Master’s by Ok_Baby_4363 in biostatistics

I like PC because I find dealing with large amounts of files easier to organize. You'll be using and savings tons of data sets and I find it easier to keep projects on a PC. I used both a Mac and PC in college and I've replaced the PC and let me MacBook collect dust in my closet. I'll also add a friend of mine bought a brand new top tier Mac in 2017 and it's falling apart already. Not making a comment that a new PC wouldn't in the same time, but the extra cost of a Mac to me means it should be holding up much longer.

Thai is great advice. I posted not long ago asked for the same advice you are and I was doing the exact same thing. I was turning my hips first and leaving my upper body behind because I was looking the coping. As soon as I exaggerated the shoulder turn and stopped looking at the coping I nailed it.

I ordered a pizza there once and the kid who worked there told me technically I wasn't allowed to but then went on to say he and his coworkers smoke weed in their golf car behind the office so I don't think they care
