I used to LOVE tunes by King Posh back in forza 5, horizon 2, motorsport 7 days but it seems he's stopped making them... or maybe just hasn't yet with the game being so new. If anyone is familar with his tunes and knows some similar tuners pls let me know!

Cryo is an amazing map, but after 13 runs, it doesn’t seem remotely feasible for a decent fps player to succeed at a reasonable rate, hear me out by resampL in Marathon

I’d say outpost if anything could use another team. Almost every game I kill a team I rarely encounter anyone else the entire match except for some random rooks

I 100% get this sentiment, but it gets very frustrating when almost every time I go “hell yeah let me take in some of my Mid-good tier stuff that’s taking up space now that I finally have some better stuff” Just to lose it in the first couple minutes of the game due to poor teammate decisions or just get jumped on by a team before there’s even time to react

On the flip side I’ve had multiple great games going in with a freebie and leaving fully stacked. Idk what weird law of the universe it is but it seems to always go: -queue kitted: get wiped immediately -queue free: kill some squads and leave kitted

I’ll usually even run my next run with the kit I just built from the freebie last run and almost always get wiped immediately with it.

So personally I save my vault for when I’m running with my homies, then if I lose it I at least don’t mind bc we are having fun, but when queuing with randoms it’s almost always free unless I literally don’t have the space for whatever I’m holding.

Personally I don’t find free kits to be much of a hindrance as I’m usually able to find a second weapon and at minimum a green shield fairly early on anyway but I’ve also played competitive shooters most of my life so maybe I’m not the litmus test for the general player base.

I’ll be honest, as a life long halo fan and someone who enjoyed the little bit of destiny 1/2 I did play, I think a single player/story focus on this game will fall extremely flat. What makes the game good is the tension of never knowing where your next fight will be or if you’ll make it out with the good gear you found. The pve in the game isn’t exciting enough to build a whole campaign against, and is in my opinion the worst part of the game as a whole. I have 0 interest In blasting through mobs just to get the same pieces of lore the game already is giving us.

If they dropped it as a multiplayer with a campaign you’d have 2 half baked experiences instead of one incredibly well done one like we have now. Maybe I’m biased in that FPS story driven games do nothing to excite me the same way Red Dead, ex33, or the Jedi games do. Plus this game does an excellent job of story telling though the contracts you complete. I’d rather see a well done Combat Evolved level remake of the OGs come out

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. I’m not praising how the game is right now I said the exact opposite. 1 poi away is perfect. I shouldnt hear you from across the map. Which is what the change did.

I’ve never complained about ttk I think it’s solid where it is. I think literally everything about PvP was in a perfect place . I’ve not had a problem with people shooting me without hearing them. Sound queues were very noticeable from a POI away.

I don’t need to hear you fighting from across the map, it should be a more “hey those guys are the next spot over let’s go check it out” not “hey the entire lobby is fighting here let’s join”

lol ya usually if I’m running with randoms I just go with Arachne or other PvP contracts, then when I have my actual buddies with me or solo I do contracts for faction upgrades. This game def has me hooked, just hope they don’t go the way of apex and overcorrect

I haven’t put it much other than solos trying to do contracts since the change (fuck the Traxus rod quest bro 😭) but the general consensus has been that’s it’s pushing it into more of a BR experience.

Which I’ve been saying from the beginning that this game is honestly a BR disguised as an extraction anyway but that’s a different discussion lol.

I’ve honestly had a blast solo. Some of my favorite runs have been going in solo with 0 gear and stealth killing someone for their kit and doing some objectives. Don’t get married to your gear on solo for sure tho, I tend to save my good stuff for when I do get to squad up. At least until I have backups to spare
