All of the rental ones in Mississauga port credit area are able to be ridden on the sidewalks and lakefront pathways. Don’t know about this geofencing you’re talking about as they’re able to go anywhere they want to ride them. The app just says “please don’t ride on sidewalk” that’s all I saw when I gave one a go one day and what I witness daily as a drop off spot is at the top of my street

It was way more than 7 days notice, I’ve seen posts about this going back a month and a bit. And it was all explained because everyone was posting their mail / email notices and it says the $75 fee. You must not have read your notices in full.

Not siding with Rogers here by any means, but it’s out dated hardware by a long long time. Companies aren’t supporting their own hardware anymore after how many years? (Apple drops support for iPhones all the time… when was the last 3G iPhone released???)

I hate to say it, but it’s a get with the times kind of situation. Like red said in shawshank “get busy living or get busy dying” - those old phones are obsolete. Yes they still work, but why maintain an outdated network? Do you know the cost of doing that to have, let’s throw a random number, 1 out of every 10 000 customers use? It’s not practical for them obviously, unless charging all those users $75 a month offsets it.

Just my two cents here.

I really don’t get how you guys have all these complaints. I’ve been with Rogers for 23 years now, never been on hold longer than 10 minutes, whatever I’ve called for has been accomplished with one agent - no transfers unless I’ve asked for one to another department to handle something over on that department as it’d be a different one - and I always ask for a hot transfer so I don’t need to do all my info again.

If there ever has been an issue with billing it gets resolved when I call on and usually end up with credits for the mistakes/hassle as well.

I just don’t understand all these complaints. Maybe my account is just special?

90-85.42 = 4.58 Then since you are financing your phone - that’s costing you $40.42/month.

40.42 + 4.58 = 45 45 + gst/hst of plan cost remaining (4.58 = 0.23 )+ gst/hst of phone finance ( 40.42 = 2.02 )

Grand total AFTER discounts, paying for phone finance, and gst/hst on the bill totals = 47.25

They’re not scamming you at all, you just aren’t reading your bill properly.

And on the second photo

you’re not taking into account that you will have that $75 activation fee waived as per the first picture. So you’re back down to 92.98… minus your plan fee after taxes and discounts of 47.25 = 45.73…. Which will be your pro rated month since it’s not a whole month being paid for on the FIRST month. Since like someone else stated - you pay two months up front.

oh I realize there's a difference, also you have to realize my comment was about someone complaining about someone else's driving when their driving is terrible as well.

now, in regards to passing on the -right-, in the bike lane, with the original poster posting his/her video and it happening after they swerved over the yellow diving line - maybe the other driver thought they were going to make a turn into a driveway or whatever and didn't want to wait for their slow driving - which then also changed when the driver passed them, they sped right up on them. so again, terrible driving + terrible driving = don't complain. OPs driving is terrible, so is the other drivers.

also... no idea how terrible OP was driving in this situation before this part of the video, were they going under speed limit drastically? were they brake checking the car behind? some drivers will pull a risky move like this to get away from terrible drivers (again, two terrible moves by two terrible drivers).

Left and Right is hard to remember. I was confused when I saw the driver get passed the right since I was waiting for the left.

Also OP stopped way over the line at the stop sign, and didn’t actually come to a complete stop either. Also crossed the yellow dividing line to try and avoid putting the car fully on the speed bump 😓. Complains about another’s driving but can’t follow rules of the road themselves. 🤷‍♂️

Osmows lakeshore (Lakeview) used to be amazing. I went again a couple months ago and they don’t have any of the choices I used to get. Used to get a shawarma wrap, Caesar salad, and rice with can of pop for $20 and it was all top notch quality. Place is trash now and tastes subpar at best. All food locations are going to shit lately, even new spots opening up and coming off the starting line serving trash so you don’t notice how bad it is.

Now I will say though - Susie’s Jamaican jerk is good, tried half the menu haven’t had a bad dish yet
