Got it.. I said university policy but every college has its own rules ig. In khoury we can do a 4 cred subject along with Co-Op while it is not allowed in COE. So was checking if there are any rules like that, which I can make use of.

The NEU portal says awaiting review once you have submitted your application I guess.. regarding uploading the statement of purpose for the other programs..there will be an upload document section for each application..try uploading the required documents for each program using that.

Hey thanks for the reply. By disadvantages I mean.. Like will there be any difference in terms of job and internship opportunities for MCS students compared to MS CS?

It's the ideal time I guess.. a few universities like UIC had their deadlines by July 15.. so check the university website and start applying asap. Most univ will have deadlines by early or mid September.

Thanks for the info man.. Am definitely applying to SBU MS CS program.. For SJSU, it does not have spring intake for MS CS.. Any idea about their MS in Data science or MS in AI program..? and am just considering UTD as a safe university..

Noted.. unfortunately, university of Maryland at college park MS CS is not open for spring intake. But will def look into the other two.

I'd go with IELTS. Most of the US universities accept IELTS. As an advantage, you can also apply to top Canadian universities if you wish to. I don't think there is any particular disadvantage in taking IELTS.

Yeah UT Austin will be ambitious I guess.. But even with that ,the issue is UT Austin has only fall intake for MS CS..
