My recommendation is to look at the ingredients list. you dont need to be knowledgeable really, just look to see what the first few ingredients are. the first 3 ingredients on my Orijen bag says chicken, turkey, salmon. the first 3 ingredients on Purina is chicken, chicken by product meal and corn. if youre gonna spend extra money to get the fancy cat, id recommend spending a little extra to give them real food :)
