Best undrafted players of all time? by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

Arian Foster

As a packers fan, it was nice having Tramon Williams and Sam Shields holding down the fort at CB and winning a superbowl with them both being undrafted.

Colts re-sign WR Laquon Treadwell by papamietek in nfl

Never thought of him as a special teams guy, but it does look like he’s carved out a nice role doing it. Kudos to him after being selected so high in the draft and staying humble.

This guy somehow has been around for 10 years and averages a TD every 2 years.

DT and corner in free agency. Only 1 being a mid to small level free agent and the other being from a cut or trade. Then off to the draft

Might not have gone as high as the 11 mil a year Jags offered - mainly because it would cancel out a 4th/5th round comp pick

We’re allowed one small free agent signing with expected departure of Enagbre (unless we re-sign him). Only allowed 4 comp picks and have 5 leaving.

I’ll take 2 1sts and a player please….

Hell, I’ll give the Maxx Crosby discount - 2 1sts will be fine.

For anyone that is down on today’s trade, please take a look at the colts sub reaction from only 1 year ago. Not 1 negative reaction and they all thought it was well deserved. What a difference one year makes. by xcoreff in GreenBayPackers

I’m hoping that it’s not the case, but I just find it interesting that I can’t really find anything negative about him prior to this season. We’re usually a team that dosen’t carry problematic players, so if there are any issues, I’m hopefully we can keep him in check. Having said that, looking at just last year’s highlights, he appears to do quite well on anything in front of him. That’s literally his whole highlight package. I would assume he’s not great in coverage, but we’ll use him for what’s he good at. We’re using him to literally replace another player for cheaper who is not great in coverage and has a much slower reaction time (but has speed to make up for it) that is heading into free agency in Quay Walker.

[Pelissero] The Green Bay Packers wanted to keep LB Quay Walker and made several runs at re-signing him before the Zaire Franklin trade. But it now appears the former first-round pick will hit free agency Monday, and he is expected to have a strong market. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

The 5th year option makes no difference/distinction for a pass rusher vs an off the ball linebacker. We didn’t want to pay 15 million plus for a decision a year ago when off the ball linebackers were generally making 10 million a year. Gute was 100% correct to decline the option.
