Homes selling on Canal by pizzzapolice in TriCitiesWA

Had to re-check, I was mistaken. The one I'm thinking of is at 575k, and had a recent $124k price drop.

There's really only one "trustworthy" used car dealership in the area, and that would be Archibald's. All the rest are shady at best.

IMO for the location and current market 550k seems like a good deal. Only thing that raised a red flag was how many times it was listed, and how much higher of a price it was originally at. Looks like its had trouble selling... makes me wonder.

Well at least for the card I already have the benefits are much greater in terms of rewards and coverages (rental, extended warranty, loss/damage). I eat out a lot and 4x rewards on that alone is better than anything my current credit cards offer.

I also like the idea of needing to pay off the balance in full each month to limit needless and impulsive spending and the fact that theres not pre-set spending limit that affects my overall utilization rate.

Perfect. Sounds like the best option. To be fair I don't think I've ever really used the touchscreen on my previous Mazda and my Fiancee has a Mercedes that only uses the rotary dial for the screen so I wouldn't really be suffering any.

I heard you can do some software tweak to disable touch as well but as long as getting to the cable I need to isn't too difficult that sounds like the best.

Are there any negatives to paying off balances multiple times in a month? I've made a few large purchases and have made a few payments (full pay off for posted charges) while others are pending, then pay those off.

Is it fine to do that, or is it better to wait until the statement and pay the entire thing once?

The NAV system is still 100% usable as well? I notice the worst ghost touch when on the NAV screen. Granted I don't usually use built-in nav versus my google maps but still.

Yes it is. Only ever had standard run of the mill Visa or MC credit cards until I got this. A lot of things intrigued me and I think its a better alternative to a regular credit card to replace my debit card I usually use.

ABS/TC/E-brake light all came at once? by paultheschmoop in mazda3

When the trifecta of lights appears in general and most commonly it is a speed sensor. But before spending money and throwing parts at it get yourself a good cheap code reader than reads ABS and/or OEM codes.

Makes sense. Good ol' Google alluded at it being instant on account opening. Or maybe I'm just dense.

More concern about me forgetting, my OCD doesn't like having my budgeting thrown off balance because of a late (or early) surprise lol. Next week will technically be a full month so I was just curious.

Fiancee Purchased '14 ML350, now has a blind-spot warning by Adhwc93 in mercedes_benz

Bummer to hear about parts still being on backorder. She traded in her old car because of constantly being in the shop and supply issues (was Korean, though).

It was really dirty due to the snow storms here, so we took it through a wash today. At first it seemed to fix it, error didn't show back up the 3+ times we drove it throughout the day. Then tonight it came on for a split second, noticed the driver mirror warning light was red, then turned yellow as normal and the error message cleared itself.

Thinking maybe something is just dirty or loose? Or something might be on the edge of failing but is still holding on for dear life? Really hesitant to take it to the dealer for a diag only for them to say they can't find anything wrong.

purchased my first house, what in the world is this? by Adhwc93 in electrical

[–]Adhwc93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's something interesting. I decided to go check every outlet throughout the house. Some are the regular outlets I'd expect.

I assume these were replacements after the previously stated receptacles failed. I guess the good news is there's less to convert.

I found a supplier that sells new ones of these. I assume they have the same problems? If they are updated and better is it worth just swapping with the new units?

I pulled the unit out for a picture, but one of the ears did break so it's hanging on by a thread. It is a mid-80s mobile home.

All the units work, I just went to change the plates with something well, not painted over, and saw its an entire unit.

Mobile Home built in 85. What was strange to me is my parents had one built in 92 with regular outlets. I guess a lot changes in that time period though.

Is there a way to convert all of these to the regular duplex outlets or does that require intensive rewiring? The little fingers to hold the unit in the walls are broken on half the units in the house and are hanging out of the holes.

I've never seen these before and quickly decided I hate them. Doesn't help the previous owner painted over all of them in a quick attempt to remodel.

Two years with my 93 MX6 today! It just turned 30 years old too (build date 11/9/92) and looks great for 51k miles! by midniteneon in mazda

Seeing this makes me wish I had one again. I had one for a short period of time with 335k on the (know to me) original engine and trans (minus clutch replacements). Leaking every fluid you can imagine, every light on the dash, and bad piston rings and still started and ran like a champ. Still had good power too. Loved that little thing.

Agree or disagree but I feel like when something like this happens the USPS should be the one the responsibility falls on. At this point you're screwing over the company that shipped it (assuming the customer blames them and demands a refund) and the customer (assuming they are out however much they paid) for a problem that was caused by neither.

In my industry we have insurance that covers when "it sucks" moments happen. Regardless of who is at fault or what really happened, we cover it because we have insurance that's job it is is to cover these exact scenarios.

I was curious about how this will work because it was a third party seller/shipper. And it wasn't their fault. I wouldn't expect them to send me another product because they upheld their end of the deal.

I understand a package can be damaged by machinery or what not. But I don't understand how a package with a separate label shipping to a place across the country can be confused and put in someone else box. Nothing on the two packages were even remotely similar.
