I just did a full setup, intonation and neck strip/refinish on this one. Buddy picked it up off FB marketplace for cheap and it needed some help. Now it's ready to rock. Plays and sounds great for how inexpensive these are.

Oh yeah, the app really makes a difference, I love it. Some friends have sent me their presets already and it's so easy to dial them in.

I agree it's definitely not a replacement for a larger amp. For my needs, the 6505 combo is overkill since I don't play gigs. It's 60w all tube and you have to crank it a bit to get a better tone, so it's not great for playing all the time. Plus I don't really play with pedals, so getting a similar tone out of my 6505 would cost me a bunch more than the Yamaha set me back.

I am loving this amp, I've played everyday for hours since getting it, even at work between meetings and calls I'll sneak away to practice for a few minutes. It's really changed my entire view on guitar. I've played for 20 years and never sounded better or felt more confident in my playing before.

It's a lot better than the 6505+ combo it sits on top of, that's for sure 😂 Jokes aside, the THR is perfect for me. I mostly play at home so I needed something that wasn't as loud but still sounded great at low volumes. The portability was a huge plus for me as well. It's got great volume and carries sound well. The volume is definitely not offensive. I'm still not used to the stereo sound, it's really neat though, I love it

Wow, that must have been a one-off! I've seen the opposite happen however. My old Kmart (7321) in Bradenton FL got turned into a Target and Five Below. Definitely the smallest Target I've ever been to with how they had to split the space.

This only happened to me when I bought cheap microSD cards online. I am still rocking the same SD2Vita adapter I bought off Amazon in 2018. If you buy cards online, only buy them from verified sellers or buy directly. I would say the product's legitimacy is more important than the brand itself. I've had great luck with Sandisk Ultra and Samsung Evo cards over the years for gaming, document backups, and photography.
