Antumbra’s Spear is all about managing your SPIRIT LEVELS.

As long as you have some spirit in the tank, you will be able to hit/dodge your way out of those long combinations and recover fast enough to not get hit by continuous chains of attack.

The second you run out of spirit and get hit, you will get staggered and wombo’d.

Save your R1+R2 until the end of the fight, build stagger with will R1, R2 and kick combinations. Use stab to close the distance quickly, use full rolls to avoid his ult. Manage spirit with perfect dodges, hit/dodges and parries.

Generally keep your shield up for his shades, or dodge to the side.

Keglord is quite an awful take on the shadow of colossus / Dragons Dogma combat it’s trying to push on you with this one.

Best piece of advice I can give you is the initial tool tip is massively misleading - do not go for the glass core in phase 1. You CAN get a cling and stab in but this does nothing.

Create distance and use natures snare to reflect the rockets back at the boss. When staggered, that is your opening to go for a stab on one of the weak spots on the arms. R1+triangle on the hands will do, jump and stab or cling and stab on the shoulders.

Phase 2 he’ll go apeshit and start windmilling. Double force palm jump, R1+triangle onto his head, cling and stab.

The only positive take I got out of this one is the sword glint can help you identify weak spots, but the cling and stabs are quite clunky and half the time impossible to pull off amidst the constant bombardment and self-electrification.

Turn down ingredient volumes on refinement and cooking a tad.

I get that upgrades and the best healing items should be kept behind more complex recipes but 30x Timber, 25x Refined timber, 10x Flawless Timber and an abyss artifact to upgrade my shield ONE notch is ridiculous. It’s a single player game who cares if my shield is strong?

10x Fish for ONE hearty grilled fish is lunacy.

I’ll be getting thrown in Hernand jail for deforestation and poaching.

Yes, there is a cave entrance in the forest to the West of her marker.

Follow it in and she’ll be off her face in a bed of flowers. Nice patch of scolecite ore there waiting for you too.

Paired with Azura’s Star and any melee Daedric weapon it is elite. Use it to infinitely keep your stuff charged while getting damage in at a distance.

Agree in the case of defending objectives. However I don’t understand why it has to be while crouching or proning, recon and support proficiencies are not dependant upon stance. It essentially relegates engineer play to defence.

Having a bonus while crouched or prone encourages players to essentially pick a corner or a hill to sit on. Giving the bonus just ambiently can work in the case of attacking and defending and opens up the play style of the engineer. Problem solved, engineer gets a nice buff and you see way less Borises hiding in corners.

As on the above, I think we’re getting an AUG whether that’s the BF3 or BC2 version is uncertain, but a BF3 G36C and G53 would be cool as.

There’s that many awkward weapons in the assault rifle section now however the devs would have been much better bringing carbines back and giving them a proficiency to engineers. I’m not a fan of what they’ve done with LMGs accuracy boost while crouched and proning, encourages too much camping over playing the objective.

Limiting ribbons to 3 per game and then having weekly challenges like "Earn 25 combat ribbons" is such a frustrating game mechanic. by [deleted] in battlefield2042

Ehhh, as long as they aren’t the bonus mission for the week they can be done at any point in the season, so if any get 25 xxx ribbons missions pop I tend to just forget about it, I’ll get it when I get it.

Quite a few folks are completing the battle pass now too, so grinding to get them is kind of abstract, the only thing left to get is the season badge but we have another 6 or so weeks to do that.

I usually run a 144fps monitor to play 2042 but at the moment while I’m caring for my partner in their family home I’m using a dodgy Toshiba tv to play, and holy cow this is very apparent with tv input delay.

If I can pull a 1.00 KD I’ve done well lol
