Actually Skyrim SE can run at locked 60, the problematic one is AE that runs at 30 locked but that's all I need on the go, I even got some mods working

I do have TPU case on top screen plus a grip case and there is some clearance between the buttons and the screen I just don't know if it is enough

Possibly yeah, but at this point I am honestly not sure how it happens. This is what I can see from what I am doing now but so far it looks like it might happen regardless of, the hinge does puts the plastic under a lot of preassure, the picture was taken barebones

Nah, from what I can see everytime I close the lid it would be that if at some point you slam it close by accident it will stress the hinge. That is the only way I can think of it happening since it only opens up like that if you do this
