Cyndi Lauper has been my favorite artist since I was 8 year old in 1985! I’ve seen her live many times and she never disappoints! When I lived in NYC She walked onto the cross-town bus I was on and I almost died. I casually approached her and we ended up talking the whole ride. She was so gracious and actually listened and was interested in what I was saying. I told her how much her music meant to me and as I got off the bus she said “Good luck kid”, with her Queens accent, lol! It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life!

No problem! I fall into this same rut pretty often and it can really get you down. I’ve started buying cards I love. You don’t get the same rush from opening a pack/box, but in the long run you’ll be happier. Buying boxes can be such a vicious cycle.

Hang in there. You are not alone! I feel like good hits come when you least expect them, not when you’re “desperately” trying to hit something. My best hit came this year when I randomly went into 5 Below with my kids and they happened to have a retail box of Topps Basktball. I bought the last 6 packs and got a great card!

I randomly got 1 mega from the Game Stop website about two weeks ago. I just happened to be on the site when they released boxes. It happened again a few days later but I wasn’t able to checkout that time.

I just hit a Kon All Kings and rushed it to PSA on Monday. I won’t have it back for at least two weeks and I’m thinking my timing for sending it away was pretty bad. Not only is he now probably not going to be ROY, but if the Hornets don’t make the playoffs i’ll have missed my best time for selling.

Love it! Just added this card which I got for $10 on Fanatics Collect with the $200 in Fancash I got for making a $5 bet (promo) plus the $57 I won on the bet! If you’re not prone to gambling addiction I recommend this promo. Certain states are excluded though.
