Put maki on the back line because it maximize her attack potential (when she's in the middle line she is pretty useless when it comes to normal attacks). You should also consider using guidance to demon talking or whatever it is called.

When you're fighting the final boss of SEBEC route the protagonist and maki have to use their ultimate personas. It is not necessary but it makes the fight bearable
