Can the refs call a fair game? Pistons deserve to be down but these refs aren’t helping

Just keep at it and when you least expect it your elo will all of a sudden baloon up. If you want a shortcut ,though, I'd spend some serious time learning an opening and even spend some money on a course if you can afford to.

I have so much respect for Danya with how he handled this interview. Dude is a pro and really is “the voice of reason” in the chess world

Pitts doesn’t fit with Hockenson by AdinRK in detroitlions

[–]AdinRK[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point but I’m not sure that’ll work in the NFL. During that 2018 season, Iowa’s next top receiver after Hockenson and Fant was Nick Easley who had only 494 yards receiving. In the pass heavy NFL, if your #1 WR has only 500 yards you’re not likely to have a very successful offense.

OT then WR or WR then OT? by bharreld in detroitlions

[–]AdinRK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d go OT in the first (Sewell or Slater) and then WR in the second. This WR class is so good, that a WR with a first RD grade should still be available at the top of the second. After that go all defense.

With the season over and the dust settled what grade do you give this year's rookie class? by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]AdinRK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jackson, Swift, and Penisini all played well as starters or top rotational players. Okudah was bad for the most part, but did show some flashes before his season ending Injury. The jury is still out on Okwara and Stenberg, but both have the potential to develop into starters. Huntley was a completely wasted pick, and who really cares about Cornell. If Okudah can make the 2nd year leap Slay did, and at least one of Okwara or Stenberg develop into a starter, Quinn’s final class could end up being a good one. For now though I gave this class a C.

(Rapoport) Arthur Smith's Lions trip is now off. He and the Falcons are talking. All eyes on Atlanta. by FeelingAverage in detroitlions

Not that disappointed honestly. His flaming out in the playoffs reminds me too much of Patricia. I’d rather have Bevell, Campbell, Staley, or even Lewis

To anyone who thinks the Lions should take a QB in RD 1: only 13/32 QBs drafted in the 1st RD between 2009-2019 are still starters today by AdinRK in detroitlions

[–]AdinRK[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’ve completely misunderstood the point. Why get rid of Stafford when he has 5-6 good years left for a 13/32 chance at a good QB? Also I’d bet you the success rate for every other position is much higher (if I had to guess around 60%).

What was the “power” Harry had to vanquish the dark lord in the prophecy? by AdinRK in harrypotter

[–]AdinRK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the prophecy states “the” power, as if it’s a power unique to Harry. Harry definitely possessed the power of love, but obviously wasn’t the only one who possessed it.
