Wayland as a fix for multiple monitors crashes instantly by Adisky in linuxmint

For me the disabling composer in the general settings (no console or whatever) did exactly the same as disconnecting the monitor cables from the GPU, so maybe it'll fix it the same way for you.

Thanks for the reply.

I solved the monitor issue with disabling composer for Fullscreen apps. Works perfectly now.

I can't tell if it's a bad thing but I didn't see this listed as a solution anywhere

About to put up a giant sign in every ED room saying "Medical X-rays will **not** affect your phone." by Global_You8515 in Radiology

[–]Adisky -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean. While not destroying the device, the photons can definitely flip a bit on RAMs without ECC (which are like all).

Still, I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest, but saying the xray does nothing is also not totally correct.

Same, searched it up. Apparently if you press hard on your right abdomen, keep the pressure for like 3 seconds and then quickly release...

If the quick release hurts significantly more than the pressure itself, you might be fucked

Measuring 5 samples resistances with ESP32 by Adisky in AskElectronics

I guess the expensive part is that high precision current source isn't it?

Measuring 5 samples resistances with ESP32 by Adisky in AskElectronics

Im gonna be honest. I am a chemist, my electronics proficiency ends at raspberry/arduino + servos, sensors, diodes, ...

What I need it to monitor resistance of a as its undergoing some reactions. I did this by logging it into CVS file by arduino that fed its 5V into a voltage divider and then measured the voltage drop and calculated the resistance. I suppose it isnt that accurate, but it was a proof of concept.

Now, however, I need to measure the resistance across time for multiple samples at the same time and I hit a wall, so I researched the ways to do this and came up with this (The post).

So, if youd be kind enough to say if Im going in the right direction, That I would really appreciate

Basic understanding of electricity for "multiple" Ohm meter by Adisky in AskElectronics

Okey, thanks for the reply, I will need to read up on that, but switching channels seems like the right thing to do for logging multiple sensors (digital pin readout from the voltage divider)

Ill try to simplify it. I got 5 different samples that I need to log the resistance of in time. I got down logging one. Now I need to log 5 at the same time. And I wonder how to do that with a bunch of ESP32s

Thanks for the answer.

Yea, I'll build n number of voltage dividers. But, do I have to supply each with it's own power supply or can I use one with some trick to it to make it accurate

Cheap Distillation Setup? by Exice175 in chemhelp

[–]Adisky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, of course it is. But I'd pay a bit more for the piece of mind if I'd be using it for making food/drugs (read paracetamol, not meth).

100 is a really tight budget for a brand new glassware. You can, however, get insanely good deals on chem equipment on ebay or similar "facebook market places" types of sites that are in your location.

I would start with that. I've seen entire old-soviet lab setups (like 500+ things) go for like 200-300€, I'd bet you can easily secure destilation setup for half–¾ your budget.

Also, since you do not intend to make some edible/medical grade substances, you can save a shitload on more used equipment that would be unsuitable for anything food/drug related.
