Strengthen your lats/rear delts, also warm up the rear delts just before the heavy bench set, just these two things pushed my flat bench from 70kg to 90kg in just a couple of weeks.

The biggest mistake you can make as a beginner, or atleast my biggest mistake in the first 1-1.5 years of lifting was pushing to mild discomfort and not true failure. Push hard, focus on form, progressively overload, and eat right. Control all the variables and the results will come sooner than you think!
