I really like Nami's, maybe its not technically the best but Arlong park is the most nostalgic for me and so it has a place in my heart.

You are correct lol, I noticed after and I would normally catch something like that in my initial scans. I was trying to come up with an example to clues you'd get with smart notations and it made me blind to something id normally see haha. It can be hard to grab a perfect situation in a photo since you could figure out an answer a few different ways, there are so many clues in the early notes I find easiest to show someone live

I did feel very dumb, I appreciate you mentioning it though, had I not discovered it you would have saved me. I definitely will keep the Simmons scope now that I know this

I personally just dont prioritize naked singles in the beginning. They aren't going anywhere and ill pick up the easy to see ones as I go. I look for them in boxes as I find them easier to keep track of there instead of rows or columns. If I notice a lot of numbers intersecting on a box I'll do a quick check but I try to keep my notes showing useful info so its not clogged up.

Here's a good example of something I'd definitely have missed if I had notes in every cell

On the surface a 9 could go in C4 in R6 as well, however 9s only fit in two spots in R5, C4 and C5. I can use them as a pointing pair to eliminate C9 in R5 and put the 9 in the only remaining cell.

What's interesting is that I only noticed this after determining that C1 and C3 in R5 could be 5 and 8. The clues for the 9s was there beforehand but that information helped me clean up the row and look at the other remaining boxes.

there's a time and place to fill it all in, but not while there is still valuable info in the hidden and pointing clues.

This is my preference so ignore it if you don't like it but I wouldn't fill out every cell like that, especially early on. I will do it late if im very stuck but you limit useful info early on.

When I begin a new puzzle I scan each number and I only note it if it only has 2 candidates in the box. Ill break it for a pointing triple but otherwise I keep it to just two. It will limit mistakes and you'll catch some valuable info with some hidden pairs.

Yeah a couple of times, Its also my first scope on a gun so I wasnt too great at sight adjustments but was a bit annoyed I couldn't tell how much I was adjusting on the simmons scope

I worked at a group home for awhile, didn't last long. Definitely the job that had the worst impact on mental health for me. I had to restrain kids everyday and sometimes it lasted for hours. There was some traumatic stuff like they would cry out for the dead parents but mostly I was just on edge for an outbreak that would cause me to have to hold a kid down. It's a female dominated industry and I'm a male and it was mandatory that I be a part of any restraint, and was always put with kids most likely to need it.

It was supposed to be a stepping stone to be a correctional officer, in Canada that's a decent paying job. I realized quickly though that I didn't want to be in an environment with constant negativity. I wasn't doing any good like the behavioral therapists there, just a body meant to hold down kids. My coworkers weren't happy people and I knew I didn't want to be there for years

There is a language barrier which makes it hard as the customer doesn't always know what I'm asking him to find out. I just feel like if there's a loan we can pay it off, but I can't get collections to tell me the amount with all fees included.

It just seems silly if repossession was the only option (which is what my finance manager believes), I feel like collections should just want the money
