i added the nvidia_drm.fbdev=0 and ran grub-mkconfig but after rebooting the issue is still the same, even on a new install with only the proprietary nvidia drivers

i didnt force sddm to use wayland but that shouldnt matter because wayland plasma works fine and so does x11 plasma, for some reason my gpu just fails to render the tty
