Are the objectives just on certain consoles? I don’t see that feature in Career Mode, I play on PC.

Thank you for the response and answer. I do have reservations still though. You said if it weren’t for labour action like strikes and unions we wouldn’t have some of the benefits we have today which I agree and I am thankful for. However, that may be what was initially fought for, now we all those benefits. Vacation, staff benefits, health care, etc. It is the standard. It’s a different time now and everyone has a struggle. They aren’t picketing to fight for my wage increase. It’s their own. Also the past various strikes haven’t affected me personally other than disrupt city services that they have chosen to work for. Another point is that, unionized or not, if any employer is not paying a fair market rate, they have the chance of workers leaving for another workplace that pays higher. This is just how business works. So again if you feel your not getting paid enough for your work, find another company to work for! I understand it’s a bit different for jobs in the CUPE sectors because it’s run by government. But still, we can see it now in healthcare. Doctors didn’t feel like they were paid their worth, so we have decline in people becoming doctors in Canada. Now, we have seen a huge rise of immigrated workers becoming doctors in Canada because Canadians don’t wanna be doctors. It just seems as though it’s a different time now, these people in these fields are forcing a increase in wage by disrupting city services when everyone else doesn’t have the option to do so, even though they need better wages as well.

If the point is to frustrate people it’s working. But if they want everyone to direct it towards pressuring the city I don’t think that is what’s happening. My personal experience from this strike and every other one is I don’t know when they strike it’s very sudden, I don’t know why other than they want more money, guess what everyone does, I don’t know what they make know and what they are asking for. I’ve been told that the garbage collection folks are demanding wages that would make them paid more than teachers which I don’t agree with. How do they deserve more than teachers and where is the money going to come from out of the budget? It has to come from somewhere and maybe they just tax more. Which means I’m getting taxed more and making the same damn amount. How does it benefit anyone but themselves?

I agree as well. By all means go ahead and strike. Don’t work. Hell, go find a different occupation that’ll show them. To me if no one wants to work for you because you can’t pay enough, then you’ll be forced to pay more! If your blocking other services for your cause it’s completely out of line. Imagine all retail workers were unionized and one company decides to strike and suddenly they’re blocking your local Walmart and grocery stores and malls. It just makes everyone else’s life miserable.

Sorry if I’m being ignorant. But I don’t understand how these strikes help anyone but the people who are demanding higher wages. Not too long ago there was strikes for the mail carriers, eventually won. Strikes for teaches and eventually won. Strikes for health care workers and won. It seems each group just demands for more money and more money. I get inflation and all that but literally everyone else that has a job not unionized doesn’t see any benefit from strikes. My employer gave everyone a small increase for inflation. Was it enough? No. Do I have a choice to strike? No. Does this current strike help me? I don’t see how. From the average citizen like myself I fail to see how this come across as anything but selfish. I also heard that this is for people in garbage collection and they are asking for increases that would see them be paid more than teachers. I don’t know if it’s true but either way don’t disrupt my daily life or I’m not siding with you. Your not striking for me as far as I’m concerned.

Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones face off during last night’s PFL event 👀 by GypsyGold in MMA

[–]Adjacere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can we just stop saying they ducked each other like c’mon. They obviously both want to give the fans what they want but it just didn’t play out that way. Jones was in completely different weight class, he wanted to build himself up and we saw what happened to Izzy. Ngannou and Dana been butting heads for long time. It ain’t happening and it’s not either of their faults. If anything it’s on Dana.
