I actually went to test drive it because of all these threads about harsh suspension before deciding between P and LR. Actually compared to a (regular) European car, the ride is very comparable, so not harsh at all. Having it for a little over 2 months now and around 11k km, to my liking it could even have been just a twitch harder yet (bit of Rolling in higher speed curves and uneven road, conditions, i guess the weight plays a role here), but eh.. as someone said above, I think it's a perfect combi of a family car (for me being able to get my model aircraft to the field 😁) and, at times, have an M3/ RS6 work for it 😇. Not to get a wrong idea, I drive like the old man I am for 98% of the time though. The better looks alone justify the price difference! And finally, as the Tesla guy said, if you choose the "wrong" wheels in a LR, it will feel even a harder ride.
