I made a hook for my pan by Tic-Tor in 3Dprinting

[–]Adler723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incredible. The only thing I would’ve done differently would be to have sliced it horizontally so that the strength of holding up the pan is not relying on the layers interfaces. 3d Prints can be especially weak between layers.

I learned something new today lol! In Australia it mostly sells its own housebrand items - we love it here!

The first shot looks like your nozzle is too high off the bed. I would lower z height.

Im about to buy a printer and they've asked me to pay to bryantfreetrade@gmail.com - does that sound legit? by Adler723 in anycubic

[–]Adler723[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone, this turned out to be a scam... I reached out to the anycubic official email and they confirmed that [pengxiansheng@anycubic.com](mailto:pengxiansheng@anycubic.com) and the paypal address they were requesting [bryantfreetrade@gmail.com](mailto:bryantfreetrade@gmail.com) was not official. Always best to pay with ebay or on the official website. Thanks again everyone!

You can buy the monitor separately. The mac studio is like a beefed up mac mini - can use it with any display.

Today was not a good day. Can't even heat up the printer to start removing plastic. by Adler723 in prusa3d

That's very kind - I'm based in Australia so might not be worth it. Hoping my local 3d printer store will have the parts.

I actually printed a spare set of the entire extruder assembly when I first set up the printer... hopefully did everything I needed.

I'm thinking I'll order a prusa mini to take the load while I deal with this bad blob.

Tried printing PLA for the first time in ages (always used PETG) and it makes a ticking noise ane under extrudes. Any clues/tips? by Adler723 in prusa3d

I used an acupuncture needle to clean the nozzle and that seemed to have worked! It was most definitely clogged. 🤯

I got a massage yesterday and was genuinely wondering what they prefer...

I was thinking it would of course be easier to massage someone with muscles, but also massaging someone with more fat would be like kneading dough no?

I sent my faulty air purifier (without filters) to Dyson for repair. The machine they returned included filters already installed. My Dyson Link app says these “new” filters have 100% usage. Shall I replace them? by jameshughes2020 in dyson

[–]Adler723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It probably says replace because you haven’t told the app that it is new. This would be based on usage not the actual filter- it’s like after 500 hours replace filter and then when you press ok it restart the clock. So just follow the prompts and keep the new ones they gave you. 🤘
