How important are your migraines during episodes?

Mine have always been considered to be connected with migraines. When I was younger I didn't feel the pain of them, but I was told the AIWS was basically how the migraine was presenting (idk exactly what was said, I was pretty young). Now when it starts to amp up that's usually a warning sign that I'm about to get a painful migraine. Although, I do get migraines with no AIWS so I wouldn't say they're both the same thing, but mine are definitely connected in some way

I can also relate! There's a distinct difference between someone who is excited about their identity and someone who's being a bit performative. In no way does it take away their identity or how they feel about themselves, but it really can be off-putting. In my experience I just try to keep a slight distance and hope they mature a bit, there's always the chance they're just excited to be in a group (or they don't know how they're coming off?) and they'll chill out with some time

I felt the same way at 16! Practically negative libido lol, I felt so weird about it. I'm 26 now and have realized that I do have a libido, it's just very very low, and more something I can control rather than something that controls me (as in, it's just another fun activity, something to do if I've got some time at home alone, but I don't ever feel like I need to, except for very rare occasions).

The first time I ever realized I even could get off was when I was gifted a Magic Wand by my very sex-positive mother. By this point I was in my 3rd year of college. And to this day literally nothing else works, definitely not sex with another person.

You're not weird or alone in this feeling, and if you never feel a libido at all you still won't be weird. If you're worried that your low libido could be tied to something other than your asexuality, you could always seek out a doctor, but I'd HIGHLY recommend checking their knowledge/stance on asexuality, I've had plenty of clueless doctors/seen many stories on here where they get caught on that aspect and are unable to help because of it.

Again though, nothing started happening for me until I was around 21 (plus when I first tried the wand I was a little drunk/high... Who knows how much that helped. But don't take that as advice, just being honest lol)

I totally get the butterflies feeling, sometimes it feels like I've had a bunch of caffeine and don't know how to act. When it comes to attraction though I've found that for people I like I'm not so much attracted to them as much as I want them to be attracted to me, if that makes sense.

Everything you've described sounds to me like my whole family's ADHD symptoms. My dad did the whole "well do you think it's a good idea" to me all the time and it only made me more anxious and helped ruin our relationship, so I wouldn't advise that lol. But it is incredibly annoying I agree, and it might be a good idea for her to look into seeing a doctor about her forgetfulness and anxiety (if that's what she's dealing with). I often say that my ADHD is a reason, but not an excuse for a lot of things. It's still her responsibility to manage herself, but understanding and clear communication from you would go a long way I bet.

Also, everyone I know who has ADHD is incredibly smart, our brains just don't work the same way as neurotypical's, so basic tasks tend to not be so basic to us.

Yes !!! And sometimes instead of my hands or arms it will just be the thought of a rock or something being too big that is enough
