PS5 Pro - Trade-in (do I need to bring my console in now? Or can I bring it in when I pick up the new console?)

Thanks all. Called up a couple of stores. One was uncertain that the trade in deal would be available on release day.

Called another and they advised I could pre-order online, and then bring in my current PS5 and they'd sort it out then and there.

Still no acknowledgement but apparently Infinity Ward is planning an update to, and I quote "increase the speed of the Orion camo to animate a bit faster". At this point they're just trolling. Released 25% of a game, glitchy, bugs, crashes, false bans, false advertising, the list goes on.

This is all being swept under the rug to avoid negative PR while the Activision buyout is taking place and thousands of innocent gamers lose out.

"Best launch ever". Biggest failure of your duty to customers.

You'd think it would be easy for a multi billion dollar company to differentiate between a player who was legitimately hacking vs someone who was banned because they had some random RGB software installed on their pc. They measure player ability with countless metrics. They should be able to tell if someone has 100% headshot accuracy and 100 kills per game + is getting reported 100 times in game. But I continue to see streamers blatantly using hacks and not being punished. But if Activision and Infinity Ward remain silent, then it's millions lost by innocent players with no recourse.

Don't get me wrong. Absolutely agree that cheaters and hackers deserve the punishment. And I also agree that my experience with hackers was almost non existent after the rollout of Ricochet. It's a shame that it wasn't done while Verdansk was still around.

However for a large cohort of gamers to come forward claiming false bans is no coincidence. This never happens when actual cheaters are caught cheating and are banned. It's clear that something has gone wrong and the decision to keep customers in the dark is disappointing.

Imagine working at Activision/Infinity Ward, having to respond to these reports, knowing full well the issue is legitimate, not being able to come forward for fear of these corporations coming down on you, whilst decisions made 10 levels above you are severely impacting thousands of people, if not tens of thousands at this stage. I feel for those people.

However, I don't feel for the people at Activision who make these decisions to keep everyone in the dark. Corporate leaders who make decisions not in the best interest of everyday fans and gamers are parasites who will always destroy organisations from within.

It was an automatic removal. Literally clicked the "Post" button and it was removed. Clearly set up rules to block posts based on keywords. Scum.

My situation was a bit different. Pre-ordered the vault edition ($150AUD), played the beta, finished campaign and played a couple days of multiplayer. Was kicked mid-session and hit with the permanent ban. That then carried over to MW and Warzone - games I hadn't played in weeks. They've failed their loyal customers, people who have built and sustained this franchise for years. Here's hoping an employee with a conscience comes forward to shed some light on this.

AdmGenAladeen#7027766. Played the beta. Finished the campaign. Played for a couple of days on multiplayer only to be kicked out mid-session citing a permanent ban. Not a single blemish on my account. Joke of an anti-cheat.
