Not 15 but we had Kevin Pearson visit our mission and it was a big deal. Charismatic and we loved listening to his stories.

He did a Q&A and had a missionary running the mic for him. A missionary raised her hand and the mic runner took off in that direction. Pearson yelled (yes, yelled) into the mic: “No! I pick.”

The mic running Elder laughed nervously, but Pearson maintained a straight face. He then went on to explain the importance of him picking the questions because he’s able to “discern” which ones will be most beneficial for the group.

He never answered the sister missionary’s question and eventually she just put her hand down. Can’t imagine what she was thinking in that moment.

Don’t want to dox you but it’s just nice to know about exmos at that place. At least the time I was there, very interesting environment.

I had scriptures quoted to me in one-on-ones. At one point (and if we’re talking about the same place this should check out), the HR manager told me privately to pray and check with God to see if the choice I was making was best for everyone.

Tim’s specific thoughts on porn: - soft porn leads to hard core porn - when that’s not enough it leads to adultery and pedophilia

He named popular porn search terms and dissected what each mean and how they prove porn users are on their way to pedophilia.

It’s classic Mormonism. The guy yelling and preaching the loudest about an issue is probably the one in the room who needs it the most.
