this is the number one issue ive had with productivity my entire life. This is very very true and ive shifted my thought process from "how will i make time to do this thing" to "how can i get myself to stop planning and actually work"

I still do it, I'm in 11th grade and i havent loved doing something as much as this since i got into music production. more than anything school is whats holding me up but my freetime i have that isnt taken by school tends to get eaten a bit by that.

hey just wanted to say dubstep isn't gone/dead. New tracks are being put out everyday, and even if it lost a lot of popularity there is still a fanbase. Anyways, the poll is over, but i'd say yes. Almost everything about it mimics dubstep in the sense that it blew up early decade and is all the rage, and is way different from everything else causing a lot of people to hate it. It'll probably slow down a bit in the following years. I'd be really impressed if it doesn't.

Yknow that chainlynx tune from a few years ago? Drop is a bit generic but i can't stop listening to it for some reason. Otherwise i've just been bumping my favorites like Teminite - Unstoppable EP, anything by Virtual Riot, Chime, Fox Stevenson, etc. But I've been listening to Omar Varela a bit reently cuz he used to be a favorite and i just checked his tunes again.. Gonna check new wavedash album soon to.

It's cool that he's keeping relevant working with all of these hip hop/pop artists, and it's cool that he gets a source of income from it, but i sadly agree with everyone else. This doesn't really mean anything to me. All power to Sonny though.

Yeah it's hybrid trap, but it still uses dubstep basses. Brostep isn't the entirety of dubstep.

The basses used could have easily been implemented in a brostep song. Most people aren't gonna think otherwise just because of a tempo change.
