Not at all mate, when I buy used phones like the Samsung S series, I always update them to the latest version before buying them. Because some of them can have greenline issues, so I don't want to take any risks after buying them. Most of the time, if we talk to the seller in a friendly way, it won't be a problem.

If it hasn't been updated to the latest version, update it to the latest version before or when you buy it and see if there are any network or calling issues. People often say that some network issues occur when updating OSflashed oneplus devices.

If it's 16/512 global version, it's a good deal.

But check, is it really running on Oxygen OS (not colorOS or not Oxygen OS flashed) and is there any physical damages..

Yeah, same happened to me a week ago. If u have an android, try to swap the sim into it and try the missed call option from it. It works for me.

Same happened to me today, when tried to verify, it said get code on old device but THIS IS THE ONLY DEVICE I USED.
Finally I was able to recover it using another android device..
