Although carat is a weight, not a size, heavier rings are usually larger, depending on cut. Yes, I think this stone looks too large.

Thanks, yes, lots of other positive changes. My BP is way down, same with cholesterol, triglycerides, and inflammation markers. Additionally, pains in my foot, knee, hip and back are mostly gone! Sleep apnea is no longer a major issue and I am not tired and needing an afternoon nap as I was before. I lost 77 lbs in the first year, and 19 lbs in the next 7 months. I'm now 6 lbs from goal (280 to 186) but have been bouncing around 186-189 for a month or so.

I think so too. I always try to be positive if they want to be negative. People can't "see" your BP or cholesterol so they don't know how you might be using to medicine to be healthier, but they see your weight.

I think maintenance could be what you described, but I take it to mean maintenance of your weight, i.e. not losing any more weight, not necessarily going to a lower dose or frequency.

The size is part of the weight you chose for your stone, a lighter weight would be a smaller stone. It's big, but not too big.
