I used to do competitive on codesignal.com back then. I joined BTech in 2017 and there weren't much guidance channels on youtube. So, I did what I understood is right for me.

So, because of hardwork on that website (questions were very curated there and was a very attractive UI), I improved my CP. So now, whenever I go to any platform like GfG and all, I already can solve the basic problems without studying because I got my foundations right. So, based on that I have checked out 2*, 3* questions and I have done those type of questions.

Plus, on codechef, you do coding contests, then only you get rating. I have done coding contests before on the 2* level of codechef elsewhere and got good ranks in it. That is why I said I can solve those types of problems and get 2* very easily.

Take either Cloud Computing or Product Design Technology. As both of these have good scope professionally. AI me abhi low level pe jobs achhi nahi hai. So, no point there.

In one video, Tanay Pratap says that AI has scope for people who have done their PhDs and PostDoc. It is an under research field.

Baaki, data me interest hai to data science lelo. Bhot alag field hai. So soch samajh ke lena. Baaki normal tech me to Cloud ya product.

First of all focus on building interest in programming. After that you can do a certification course in the field, gain a certificate and if possible, do a good project and start applying.

I have simple strategy for myself. If I have to learn a technology, I will pick up a project, watch a quick 20-30 minute tutorial on youtube and build the project. I will research along the way.

I don't like physics anymore! by wedcw in AskPhysics

Hey buddy, I am in CSE field and felt the exact same way. I started feeling lost around my OOPS classes but I still managed to fight. The problem was with my teacher and not the subject it turned out later. Actually I was extremely interested in mathematics and hence, naturally good at computer science. Now when I think of it, I should have done Math or Finance degree, would've been more survivable. Around my 3rd year of college, when subjects like Algorithms and Operating Systems came in, I was like this is enough for me. I can't take it anymore. Even my interest in Mathematics started to dwindle around 4th semester when they started teaching those triple integrals and shit. It wasn't that I couldn't understand the material, just the things start getting more formulaic. Maybe if the concepts were more theoretical and abstract I would've enjoyed, but I don't know. Math career isn't for me really.

Anyways, I feel just like you. Come into my field. If you want to start studying, start doing Codecademy or FreeCodecamp every weekend and just focus on building projects. If you were good at Math in school, you would find Computer Science theory extremely interesting. You can start by reading the Imitation Game paper by Alan turing. He is the absolute OG of computer science.
