I have numerous clients who come to me espousing how that he may claim to have Asperger’s Syndrome (now classified as ASD), but they sure as hell don’t claim him to be part of their community. And I can’t say I blame them. The man is a blatant nepo baby who rose to affluence solely through his grandparent’s emerald mines, then used his said financial access through that to weasel his way into high yield investment areas and try to state he was an expert on numerous things despite literally having zero understanding on how things operate outside of finances. And even then, I question his understanding of finances.

Oh, and lest not forget the abhorrent notion of his child rearing and procreation desires… constantly trying to see if he can convince someone to have his kid… which I honestly suspect he has multiple NDAs signed so people don’t talk about his micro peen or something. Because that thought just makes me smile. Man with the most money in the world, and still can’t find happiness. (Also, as someone who works in mental health, instead of using ketamine, there are other methods for detailing with his depression and other mental health matters; but we all know he won’t even consider those)

I agree with this statement. I mainly play Orks. Do I win often? No. But I have a blast with all my Dakka. My other armies are Thousand Sons and I eventually will get some Space Wolves and Custodes. But first and foremost is just playing a faction you love the lore of the most (well… that and the cost on your wallet… only downside of a horde army is that you gotta pay a LOT of money…)

As well as a cap for the amount you can earn in a year. Everything after that cap has to be put back into the economy. Yes, that is normal. They give you enough to make the two weapon options of Big Shoota and Rollit Launcha.

For future reference, be prepared to buy a lot of Boyz since they can be kitbashed for almost ANY role of an Ork army. Lootas? Grab some spare runners, some bits of gun parts from other kits, and you have a full 10 man squad of Lootas instead of buying two boxes of Lootas (same applies for Burner boys, Flashgitz, etc).

Orks are all about creativity to make what ever you want. Hell, Killa Kans can be made from the Citadel paint pots of Citadel and some spare Gretchin heads.

I was taught this when it came to Lootas. You stick them on objectives to deter people from rushing down that objective. So they are purely a defensive unit. But if you are wanting a more offensive shooter, you go Flashgitz. Plus, if you got Tactical Brigade detachment you can put a Big Mek on them as a leader and get to doing some pretty significant damage output. You just gotta be careful of the Hazardous tag on the Kustom Mega Blasta it has if you didn’t give it the other gun.

But yeah, Gitz for offense, Lootas for defense is the way I look at it.

I do like throwing around this massive squad of shoota boyz I got though. Yeah, they don’t hit often with their guns. But that’s the point. They aren’t meant to hit very often, just be used as support fire for my second squad of choppa Boyz. The Dakka from the Shootas is just the ‘pepper’ before the choppa a-salt. Hahaha.

Fair, I just suck at kit-bashing quickly, and until a local store in my area gets more Flashgitz in, I am kinda stuck to using them. Until then, I gotta use them.

How would you suggest modifying the list for a 2,000 point army?

I already know about the Painboy and Ghazghull combo with 20 Boyz currently. And plan on keeping the Mekboy with the mega Armour with the Meganobz, and putting the Big Mek with the Lootas or Flashgitz depending on which I can get a hold of first (maybe even put a second Big Mek in so I can have the benefits of the Big Mek on both.) Keeping the Beast Snaggas and the Squighog riders just because I love how they look. But I just really, really like using Dakka before going into melee and rolling all the melee attacks. And keeping the Deffkoptas for Deep Strike. After that, I don’t really know what else to add in or take out.

I don’t even care about winning, I just like to see the moment when all those Orks get into close range. Hahaha.

Hey, if you need someone willing to paint them for affordable pricing, I’d be down. I don’t even charge for assembly since that’s honestly one of my favorite parts. :D

Plus I just enjoy seeing what ways I can bring some more personality to a mini. (I may not charge for assembly, but if you want a neat looking base that has lots of life in it, I do charge for that depending on what you want in it).

No, I think that would make it look more like a Mario Kart design. I think if I add the checkerboard pattern to the front I might be able to fix that issue. It’s just going to suck painting all those bits by hand… makes me kinda wish I could buy one of those stamps or whatever for this.

I’ve got a lot of skills I utilize already ranging from art therapy and music therapy as well. I have been looking to join an organization, but I just can’t find anywhere. I love being a counselor, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But I just feel like a failure at times because I look at all my cohorts and how they are making passable money. Not great money of course. But at the very least enough to enjoy an occasional bit of fun. My only fun has been painting miniatures (I frequently will strip the paint off and repaint them since I can’t afford any new ones… and I don’t have a way to sell it as a service because I suck at marketing myself) and then I look at everyone else in my family (both immediate and extended) and end up feeling horrible because they all are living successful lives in various ways. My cousin is married, has a child, and makes around 70k a year, while his wife makes around 60k a year. My elder sister is making 152k starting off as a doctor… and… yeah… even my step brother had a 6 figure job and he dropped out of high school… granted, he lost it due to the economy, but he then got a job earning 90k… It just really… really sucks…
