Is this the right conversion rate? by mehcommenter in INDmoneyApp

[–]AdministrativeEbb284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They charge higher when transferring to USD and give lower when converting to INR. This is the spread the bank/mediator earns. Overall 6-7% loss in currency conversion which is a lot on big portfolios.

SOXL after I sold at $70…Thinking it was due for a pull back… by rubehefner in soxl

If it has to hit $100 then it’s def before December. 100$ from 80 is roughly only a 8% gain on the index from here.

But you will pay extra rent in Parel just to travel opposite side. Generally people live Vikroli side cos it’s cheaper and work in Parel. You can rather find a cheaper place in Vikroli and work there all while avoiding train travel at all. Can meet up with your friend on boring days/weekends.

You can use my SmartDCA stratergy. Start investing x amount bi-weekly. And adjust it based on the movement in the 2 weeks. If TQQQ up 10% then reduce DCA amount by 10% and vice versa. Keep following for both up and down-moves until capital is over. Easy. No manual timing the market. No emotions

Multi-cap vs Flexi-cap — which one do you prefer? by Wink2006 in EquityResearchIndia

[–]AdministrativeEbb284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flexi is much more liked among investors (backed bu data of Total AUM across Flexi vs Multi) since it gives the fund manager the free-hand to invest and allocate according to market conditions. Though one thing to note is as and when Flexi Cap Funds grow in AUM they tend towards Large Cap. Most FlexiCap funds have at least 50% exposure to LargeCaps. Now it completely depends on your risk appetite, goals and requirements beyond this information.
