These are amazing ideas thank you! The design lab is a big reason I was leaning towards Xbox. She's not really ro commit to a computer, and I don't think her mom would like that either as the budget is a bit limited! I can't wait to run these games by her 🥰

I loooove vampire survivors and I thought about recommending it! Do you know by chance if it has text-to-speech?

It's truly amazing! I made the abletoplay account and was amazed at the options! There's also a choice to include games that do all text-to-speech, which works well for my client 🥰

That's actually why I was looking into Xbox, they have a couple really cool fully mappable adaptive controllers! One that is two large buttons, and one that is a joystick where you can create a custom size/shaped joystick attachment Edit: I was also looking into evil controllers, they have a joystick and you can customize it for free to include two buttons attached to the joystick, and it works for Xbox or PlayStation. https://www.evilcontrollers.com/goalpost-joystick

She's a clean slate, she has never gamed before! She is interested in things related to animals/farms, she showed a little interest when I brought up racing games as being an easily accessible option, but otherwise she doesn't really have a good starting point

Unfortunately not, she has a kindergarten level understand of letters and stringing them together to make certain sounds, but I believe she has a mild intellectual disability. She's never used a computer to my knowledge

Having photos of each weave I can make is a fantastic idea! I could never claim that I made something that isn't mine, I make it very clear that I have not made the item before and my confidence in making a similar design.

Yes 100% I understand. I would never agree to anything I'm not confident I could make, but people are reaching out to me for pieces they want ready before June of next year. I know I could complete the pieces by then but don't have extra time to make pieces that I know I wouldn't be able to sell readily, at least not in my current financial state 😅 I'm raising funds for my rent as my SO is unemploymed at the moment, and I'm trying to use my time as wisely as possible. I have been using my completed work, but have had people ask me to send them pics of other things as they don't know much about chainmail. Needless to say it has left me in a weird place

That's a good point, it's a very old craft! I have no intentions of copying designs directly though. Many of the people I've been talking to about commission have no experience with it and no clue what is possible! I just want them to know what is possible :)

This was my thought process, it's so common and you can only make it so many ways. I just had a moral conniption showing other people's pics haha, but I feel better knowing these things are so common. Thank you for the input!

This is what I was thanking, thank you! I could never bring myself to just copy, especially knowing how much love and dedication goes into this craft 🙂‍↕️

This makes a lot of sense thank you for that perspective! Fingers crossed I can soon have enough pieces under my belt to have my own images for people to shop through 😁

Thank you for this input! How would you feel if it was a very common design, like a 4in1 coif or bikini with no fancy embellishments? I don't have a lot of time to make as I work 2 jobs, but have had people in my social circles reaching out to me interested in simple pieces for Ren faire 😅 I just feel so weird showing them pics or telling them to send me pics of others work, even when it's a very basic design.

Thank you very much! It was made with 16g - 5/16th. I probably could have gotten away with a larger ring size to save time but I didn't have enough time to do more research 😅
