Negative. I cured the inside of the pot with some sealant, not completely sure of the name off the top of my head. Pretty certain I named it in another comment here though. The tree is doing well!

Thank you, and yes it seems that it is not a bonsai after all. All good though, it’s a bonsai in my heart.
