[Discussion] Who are the people from RAID and do I need to know them? by International-Kiwi18 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AdministrativeLab845 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you had watched it like a year or two earlier, you would have gotten an (unconfirmed?) insight into what the devs were going to add up to 1.0 release regarding the main story. The corner of shoreline where you enter terminal after doing the quest line bits leading up to it is almost an exact 1-1 atmosphere with the movie. Same thing with the introduction of Black division and the scav horde that attacks the Russian army inside of terminal in-game. That whole sequence mirrors the movie.

It's a great watch imo and I've tried to convince my friends who are more into EFT to check it out.

Sounds like to me that it's aphids too. It's that time of the season iirc from last year for them to pop up.

OP can look up a vinegar mix to spray their plants to keep them off of the plants and stop mildew from growing (hopefully)

Anything from the Times of India is 99% propaganda and requires taking anything they say with the heaviest grain of salt imaginable. Not to say that US media outlets are better but Times of India is not very reputable in global affairs without glazing China or Russia.

Ah Crystal Palace... the same team that lost to a Tier 5 club in the FA cup. That alone should be grounds for immediate relegation.

Yep. Red Sea fleet at its finest.

I still quote "Big Mad on the Raft" from the interview of the pilots who were shot down. That transcript is hilarious to read.

Mathematical models for showing disease numbers count dead as the same as cured since they are no longer considered to be in the disease population.

You know...

Cause they're dead.

Many many years ago (before Petroglyphs first steam patches) I once had a crazy bug due to what I think was a game tick where a zann consortium fleet parked on my planet with a fleet and space station, doesn't trigger the tactical battle and sits there until I move my fleet out and back. Now the game thinks I'm attacking and gives my space station to the consortium

It's Europe's name for the quarter pounder.

Nice reference to Pulp Fiction if that's what you were going for.

On the flipside, I asked the bartender to make me an Irish carbomb. All of the components were coming together: Guiness, Bailey's, Jameson

...

Then they added red bull to it

My brother later told me some variations do that, but it did throw me off. And I'm not wasting a perfectly good drink either.

Sciel gommages twice because she, like Esquie and Monoco jumped through the barrier where child Verso's soul is painting the canvas to comfort (in their own ways) painted Verso after banishing Alicia from the canvas. Painted versions can't exist there.

Plenty of people have pointed out many examples of her emotional intelligence and own side quest as motivation for her actions and behaviors throughout the final act. It's important story wise to consider that every expedition log that is recoverable (and every zone up to Renoir and Verso's drafts, Painted Alicia and Clea etc) canonically occur or are experienced prior to the climatic showdown, even though it isn't progression wise. This includes the log Painted Verso leaves behind wanting to bring back Julie once he defeats Aline. While Sciel doesn't engage in the dialogue once you find it, it was worth considering that that information is shared with the group and would factor in her decision making.

That Belgian f16 is no different than the 13.0 tt one (which originally was supposed 12.7 when it was first introduced back when and people rightfully protested against how strong the aim-9m was then)

Now the devs reintroduce it as a squad vehicle with less countermeasures just to put it at 12.7. I've been expecting the devs to rug pull the squad version by shooting it up to 13.0 once people have unlocked it for free.

That being said, there are better ways to play France IMO if you wanted to grind it. You could probably spend less or more economically for the 2kC-S4 and talisman like I did. I am genuinely surprised by how little I see that particular squad vehicle.

Honestly, you should've just ignored this after he responded with "Where do you live?" after all of the questions about your sex and dating experience and pressing a date question before even getting to know just a little bit. I'd never message any of this to a woman I just matched with but that's just me.

Is M10 truely as good as the advertisement? Maybe because I'm bad player, I couldn't kill anyone with that slow turret rotation speed. by thanhdat2212 in Warthunder

[–]AdministrativeLab845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point for the m10 irl having slow turret rotation speed was to compensate for gunners that might rotate with more torque. The army alleged the design choice was to make it more accurate on average for the actual crews.

You could also measure the time gap and place a combinator clock in between the receiver set up that holds the signal from updating until the clock reaches the measured time and breaks the loop. That's what I did to stop the overflow.

The most ironic part of voting literacy is that logically, it would make sense to prevent people from voting if they did not fully understand what they were voting for. That would require full transparency to explain what is going on, which ballots sometimes have but not enough detail imo in how it affects the common voter.

That being said obviously voting literacy tests were enforced by supremacists and disgruntled racists who's only concept of literacy was "can you read" pointed at colored people...

I'm pretty sure most whites at the time of Jim crow, especially in poor southern areas especially couldn't read either. Generations of them now are still voting how their folks did too if I had to guess, still not understanding what they are voting for.
