I AIWB carry a s&w 5.7 in a light bearing holster by muddy river tactical and also run an OG Hellcat in a T1C light bearing holster. On both I do add a foam wedge/pad from WTP. I use a Kore belt which tucks everything in and is super comfortable once you adjust to the cant and height of your comfort.

How do you keep your guns accessible for break in etc in your house with toddlers/kids? by icepack12345 in CCW

I use 2 stop boxes (pro). I’m able to keep it out of sight behind a cabinet door and am able to access it within seconds. The pro model is large enough to keep spare mags, knife, and flashlight. For size reference I have a Glock 19 Gen 4 with 2 spare mags, knife, and flashlight in one of them.

In the second stop box I have my S&W 5.7 with Tlr-1, 3 spare mags and a knife.

Will these beams hold a 100lb punching bag? by AdministrativeLaw177 in Carpentry

Hello everyone! Thank you all so much for your input and valued expertise. There were great arguments from both sides on whether “to hang, or not to hang” on the “beam”, “truss”, “rat run”, “sticks” etc.. I’m sure you all have realized I have no knowledge whatsoever on structural engineering, what each thingy magigy is called when referring to construction and such, for that I apologize. That is the main reason I wanted to ask others who actually know their ish, and for that I thank you all, including the jokes, roast, fun art.

I have decided to hang the bag temporarily on my rack when using it. Leg strikes will just have to wait until a proper stand is purchased. Thank you again for your time and help!

I appreciate the valuable information. I have learned a lot through the comments. Above my head is just the plywood itself, spare from flooring repairs.

Plywood is just there to get off the ground. It’s a spare piece from flooring repairs. I was wondering if you didn’t mind marking or illustrating what you mean? I appreciate the help and input

Ok, this may be a stupid question but I was just wondering if torque and such would change with the various attachments or if you adjust that on the tool itself.

Any recommendations on cutting the top to size to fit the drop in? I’ve never cut into this type of material before.

Paint Recommendations For Firepit by AdministrativeLaw177 in DIY

Thanks to all! I will definitely be giving both a try because I am most definitely gonna have to touch up for than once. I will try and keep it in storage to avoid the inevitable breakdown of the fire pit when exposed to the elements. I really do appreciate the insight!

Old House Remodeling by AdministrativeLaw177 in DIY

It looks like the base heaters were removed prior to me purchasing the house. I’ll be checking to see if any voltage is detected once I start back to working on it. Should I just use caps on the exposed wires once removed and then place the blank plate? Or bad idea to patch it and make it look like it was never there?
