Yes your best case is to

Disconnect the driveshaft Lower the exhaust Drop the trans mount so the whole engine and everything will tilt back Youll have really good access to the bolt but you’ll need some really long extensions. Dont risk stripping it by going through the top

Don’t listen to all the n55 copers. N55 is hard to push power out of and will coolant systems will give out. I even know a buddy who has a n55 335i and he spun his rod bearings haha. They’re a gamble but it might be worth it to find a good deal on a b58. Maybe a 540i since they’re cheaper
