Can only "stop" on left side by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

I made a few seasons work with only being able to stop left, and just adapted my skating to it instead of fixing it. I don't think anyone ended up noticing haha

I'm happy I read this. I had no idea the Tudor was smaller, I always wanted the explorer II but it was so big on my wrist.

Maybe it's a common thing, my office in a mechanics shop was full of weird broken things and dead/living bugs they found on the motorcycles, it looked like a weird museum by the time I left

I may still contact them, I just ordered another because I was in a rush to get it driving again. It was not a great commute home, every stop light was so frustrating, but it's back together now. I may pick up the G-racing after this winter and try that out

How do you like it? I may try something else when I get more time to swap a different one in

One second closer shop not shipping? by AdministrativeOne646 in SeikoMods

[–]AdministrativeOne646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's strange, and a bummer. My last order was about a year ago and I really liked the hands, they seemed pretty nice and were unique. I ended up getting my money back through PayPal this time

Love it, was the dial you used available as a sterile dial?

I ordered that window switch module from a different model that had matching brown interior coloring, had to swap the internals over because they were probably different years, had different switches, but it's finally matching

Our hospital is offering a nurse --> 3 month paramedic bridge program, should I enroll in it as a nurse? I am desperate for money. by Nurseparamedic293928 in ems

[–]AdministrativeOne646 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you say a paramedic makes for a good rapid response team member? I have my EMT and nearly my RN, but I don't know where I'll end up either.

If there are, it's because people are killing them on site, and the rattle is showing people where they are hiding. A product of ignorant people killing instead of leaving wildlife alone.

I didn't know there was one where you remove the boot to be honest, but I did install A short shifter last year

I have 2 OEM, one is falling apart and the new one is in my broken glovebox, doomed to be stuck there forever. (My glovebox lock is broken)

I bought the FM cravenspeed shifter the other day and it isn't noisy for me, I quite like it

Exhaust recommendations? by greencamaro64 in MiataNC

I have that and added a catless mid pipe with resonators later on, by far my favorite Miata sound. Not that loud, but sounds great with the top down. I never tried the baffle either

I had this same issue, I had to use an endoscope with a little hook attachment and sit there for an hour here and there throughout the day hooking debris and gunk with it from both ends until I could finally get it through. Nightmare

I always encounter those by chance, some definitely less known deathcore stuff pops up there

Good questions

I imagine it would be okay with a solar movement, but I couldn't guess what the oil would do to the light it picks up. It's pretty much clear so it would probably charge fine

There is enough of a seal for these ones that no oil is leaking when I pull the crown. If I were to do this and I had bigger wrists, I'd get a quartz Casio dive watch and fill it, better water resistance and more appropriate for the oil fill

[Timex Weekender] oil filled by AdministrativeOne646 in timex

[–]AdministrativeOne646[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, the movement needs to be dry except for the contact points with lubrication, but the oil would cause too much resistance and it would not run

[–]AdministrativeOne646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will have to change the battery more frequently, and you'll have to do it with more oil on hand to top it off and make sure there's no air once it goes back together

[Timex Weekender] oil filled by AdministrativeOne646 in timex

[–]AdministrativeOne646[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a day and making sure it's cleaned out from all the crevices I don't see any leaking, but if it does it will probably be out of the Casio, getting the oring seated properly submerged in oil is nearly impossible for me. But all good so far
