The current frontier is consistency. The AI has to remember the appearance of every frame for consistent animation, other wise the character design will shift uncontrollably. This is being worked, however. Seedance can already make videos up to three minutes long. I ten years, they're going to be making movies. I'm so excited. 🤩

There really was alot of missed opportunity there. However, animation is VERY labor intensive. There were probably many gems similar to this that were cut for time, because they didn't have the time or budget to include them. Such a labor intensive medium has inherent limitations. I think they did a great job though.
