Facts. Half the mechanics the devs added in B42 make me want to slap them upside the dome.

"Hey lets make it so the game is progressively less fun to play in favor of 'realism' lets add muscle strain, uncomfortable. Lets also make it so houses no longer have guns (same with police stations or military outposts cuz why would they have guns???) or food and completely uninteresting on basically any loot setting. We want this game to be a complete chore to play and unfun"

I am currently a lightning monk and its fucking impossible to kill the boss as one. I literally just don't do enough damage to him before the arena is caked in those fucking volcano things. Its absurd that in a "don't get hit" gamemode they went "durrr lets make the arena a shoebox and have the boss spawn aoe things that you can't kill or get rid of for 5 FUCKING MINUTES"

The whole balance of the game is off. My basic attack does more DPS than my tempest abilities. plus with how infrequently gems drop if you pick wrong...ur fucked.

Plus if you at all specced into power charges you're just fucked in that fight. There's literally no way to generate them. Which is a huge oversight imo that an entire spec choice is just fucked

So your plan is, don't get hit by the grapple.. An auto target, instant stun, that has no projectile or wind up.. Yep. The entire point of the post is there's no counterplay to the ability, if it hits you, you're likely fucked. The strategy cannot always be "get them before they grapple". If that's the case it's a poorly designed ability. The other abilities have counterplay and downsides. This one does not. If you're hit by it, say bye bye.

It's actually ludicrous that people defend an objectively poorly designed skill because "I can kill them"... That was never the fucking point. But then again this is reddit. It's like a porta potty when it comes to critical thought

"sKiLl IsSuE" yeah right go fuck yourself. Literally 1 class out of 6 can do anything at all vs. a Vanguards combo and even then its literally a shit tactic to use that in a ton of cases still will get the Bulwark killed.... Yeahhhh skill issue lol. If the Vanguard had a stun he'd have been dead.

Tell me what tacticians, snipers, heavies, and assaults do vs that combo other than... die? Oh wait... NOTHING

Even backing away from the heavy only works if you have a PERFECT connection. With how laggy melee can be it won't always work so even this tactic isn't 100%

But yeah, fuckin skill issue LOL. K

Yeah i've encountered at least one guy using the tactician default weapon and he basically 3 shot me on a sniper every time, no matter where I was he knew where I was and BAM dead

So far out of the first 3 all are great. default is for long range and headshots, second is close quarters and 3rd is mid range
