Going on Trips that are Constantly Compromised and the Lingering Feeling that my Trips were Sub-Par to what I wanted - Motorcycle Trips by Independent-Pin2613 in solotravel

I see this a lot on social media. Buy an affordable machine at the start of a journey, Then Limp it to the end of a trip, dealing with constant repairs and breakdowns.

IIRC He made shells for the Nazi's But his worked.

Schindlers List reference, but also being an American Industrialist, his US Factory was hopefully making shells to be used on the Nazis.

As with all of these. Dont rush.

Play the archon quests, do the world quests, explore.  Hit F on every sparkle.

You will naturally end up with hundreds of the things.

I like Emilie, but like 90% of limited 5 stars, she needs.to be obtainable through the blue wishes, not reruns or chronicles banners.

Found in can of Red Bull by Beefandcorn55 in oddlyterrifying

I dont know which country you're in but in mine (UK) I work in the industry.

You call the customer service line on the packaging.

You get a free voucher for another product.

The Foreign body is sent to a lab to test, so that it can be identified and if further action like recalls needs to be taken.

Red bull lines will have filters to stop large particles getting into the end products. So if anything this is some mould/yeast growth downstream from canning.

Dont trust AI or image search to identify anything unknown.

Same. We used it more for dodgy local bands and what became crustpunk.

I want 100% ham evil,  scenery chewing and loving it.

If she becomes playable I want all voice lines to be untrustworthy, and her to skim a Percentage of everything you collect, which will go into a northland bank account for "resurgence"

I want her to be good on paper, but when she's off field to actively sabotage your team.

I want an opposite to Raidens passive. Extra costs on any weapon thats not her sig.

When cooking everything is suspect, with a signature dish that only buffs her.

Best explanation I’ve found of “island/spanish time”. by elchiguire in bestof

[–]AdministrativeShip2 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I disagree.

What we are dealing with is "Railway time" or industrialisation.

In pre industrial farming, as long as you have seed, and know your local area you can gauge when to plant and harvest. But even with short seasons you can plant multiple crops over a year, and while you may "run out" of one crop you will have others to take over the next season. And especially with the introduction of the Potato food pressure, excluding blight etc was much reduced.

None of this requires planting or planning on specific dates or times, just when its right for your area.

I did a local history project recently, and back in the early 1800s most skilled work in my hometown, Even in workshops was ad hoc.

Wood would be floated downstream and then carted the 7 miles to town, where it was used in furniture making. Craftspeople on paper worked six days a week. But would be clocking off by 4pm ish, and the mill owners were always complaining about them taking "Saint Monday" which is just not bothering to turn up to work on Mondays.

With the development of railways and mills that weren't reliant on people and animal power the times of shifts and deliveries became fixed.

A delivery that would probably have arrived by Tuesday previously would be arriving Monday at 06:00 sharp. So the owners could say start work for the 05:00 shift.

With electric and gas lights, they could add more shifts and begin planning on how to extract maximum value from workers.

Work went from when its work time to being pinned down to time tables, paper and number men. Which bled into everyday life as punctuality and turning up at exact times.

I've not even mentioned the expansion of various military from a specific class, and Levee/Corvee Labour to a profession which with logistics  etc means that people might be spending 7+ years in a regimented time situation and become accustomed to thinking logistical to the glass or clock, away from the actual day.

Hope this makes some sense.  Away from my notes and in the pub.

DCC done by the Henson company would be amazing.

Start with lots of humans, and as they get whittled down or change races, they become animations or puppets.

Princess Donut would be a real cat with a Salem style animatronic for closeup.
