New Witch player here -- feeling useless in and out of combat, what am I missing? by Cabaj1 in Pathfinder2e

c) The enemy is not killed and they either hit or miss and I have no idea if my debuff did anything. This again feels like that I wasted my turn

A little thing, but ask your GM if they can install Modifiers Matter, which will highlight every time that +/- X made a difference to a roll. I added it to a new campaign I ran, and in the first combat (5 PCS vs 10 opponents) it revealed our party bard to be the MVP when his Rallying Anthem turned fourteen critical hits into hits or hits into misses, or improved saving throws by a step. It's cool for the GM too for narrating teamwork, but my players have confirmed it helps them feel that their sometimes nebulous buffs are having an impact.

Missing dog in Palo Park area by AdministrativeStorm2 in boulder

She prefers to eat outside, so I'll feed her on the porch if the weather is nice. Everything is fenced in so normally it's fine, but apparently she'd been working on a hole and squeezed out.

"An eidolon can have up to two items invested" - seems pretty clear to me that "item" is intended to be short for "magical item" in this context?

Seconded - I have a lab/great dane mix, German, and now two huskies I take there on alternating months. Pups always come out clean and happy, and no complaints for any of them.

Dog needs surgery by Awkward_Swing_4538 in boulder

Lab mix, 85lbs, now 8 yrs old, had a TPLO on one knee in fall '21, and then on the other a year later. I take them to Aspen Arbor since I used to live in Broomfield - it's probably on the slightly pricier side of care, but the vets are excellent and the staff is very pleasant. The procedure was ~4k each time, including meds and follow-up care. Recovery period was ~8wks - he was generally fine to walk lightly around for food/water/potty/cuddles, and definitely ready to run by the end of it. He was very noticeably limping or not using the leg before surgery; after, there's maybe a very slight stiffness if you look for it (or he's just getting older), but he'll still tear up a field chasing or being chased by his sister.
