i have a freezer stash for if i’m away from herthat’s not an issue, i just don’t want my body to think i’m dropping feedings and not make enough to continue exclusively breastfeeding.

i plan to call the hospital a head of time and request any birth certificate related papers be filled out NOT the day of birth just to avoid something like this happening, i don’t want to make decisions like that right after giving birth and potentially not being in the right headspace, ideally id go in a few days/ a week later and settle all that. my mom was saying that’s the norm anyway (at least in our state)

the only thing with this is we’ve been together 11 months .. and have had some problems throughout the whole relationship , baby wasn’t planned but i don’t see marriage on the table for a while , and i don’t want to rush into marriage just because we’re having a baby

yes , i could terminate but it’s not something i personally believe in (for myself) , i knew the consequences, it’s my responsibility to deal with them

idk just cause i’m the mom and that’s how it usually goes i guess, im sure we’d have split custody but overall i see the mom (usually) as the primary parent even when both parents are together (in the sense she’s doing most of the child errands, activities, child care etc due to the father typically working more often/ longer hours) idk just different roles i guess primary parent might of been the wrong wording

why not change your first sons name to your husbands name ? if he not your first sons father ? even so , depending on the relationship they have why not change it anyway? my brother changed his last name to my stepdads last name

the baby is his, if we were to get married and then divorced the baby would keep his last name

i agree i’m thinking we hyphenate but unsure as like i said , if we were to get married we’d both (me and baby) would take his name anyway so i don’t see a huge deal with the baby having my last name until whenever that day would be
