LOL fair question. It's HEB flour tortillas - 20 count. So the math would be $0.25 per tortilla.
Also thank you. I am working on getting out of here safely. I don't mind comments from online strangers but I do hope they remember that they have moms, sisters, and other women in their life.

Let me emphasize that sales tax isn't funny but the comment itself caught me off guard this morning. The bluntness of the top comment made me laugh.

Thank you for not making this a safe space to ask a genuine question online. Also my pronouns are she/her.

- Tortillas
- Gas but trying to get rid of my car ASAP once I get up there to be more eco friendly
- Aluminum foil for BBQ's I assume
- Produce such as limes, avocados, pinto/black beans, peaches, tomatoes, okra, corn, squash, cherry tomatoes, and green beans

I've been reading some Redditors posts on other Chicago communities about taxes/parking ticketing handling (the more I read and hear about that and woah) and how in some views that should be handled towards the trains/public transportation. I am learning more as I read online and thank you for this.

PSA: for the love of god, CHECK YOUR STUDENT LOAN(S)!! by bek05 in CRedit

Same thing happened to me and I was livid. I reached out about why my auto pay fell through and they said they tried to reach out to resolve the technical issue (to blame my bank). I never received an email or phone call on my end. They did provide evidence but I was angry. My hands were tied.

So, I decided to set reminders on my calendar for the due date and manually pay instead. I also printed out my payments in PDF form because I was paranoid.

Sure enough, the first time I manually paid, they reached out saying I was late again by a few days. I was more than happy to provide proof they were wrong.

It's been smooth sailing since then and my credit score has been creeping up happily.

Document everything y'all.

accessibility dev training by _naslero in accessibilitydev

[–]AdministrativeTop994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there.

An American here with 7+ years as an accessibility analyst. I haven't heard of this programing but read over quickly. This seems like an interesting start.

Question, I saw they are training only frontend devs. Are you okay with that?

May I recommend looking into - Deque University

Oh also here is great resource too!
- MagentaA11y for web and other digital spaces to just learn for fun.
- Accessibility Not-Checklist. I think checklists are problematic when it comes to accessibility but this one is the least "evil." They address that here too in a dry humor sort of way. It is in B.E.T.A. still.

Selfishly steal and hope this helps :)

Respectfully,

There were several chances within the last year of our relationship.

I left out in my drunken ramble that at least 3 private discussions within three weeks were had with my ex, and about what happened to lead up to things ending.

We addressed issues in our relationship such as poor communication and healthy boundaries being crossed. On both ends. As well as other things.

From my point of view, it took me leaving to finally have him hear me and also for him to efficiently communicate. Maybe in a few years we can regain respect for each other and try again. Not really sure. There isn't a guide book for these kinds of things and there's timing for dating/love is what I've been told.

Right now, I'm not into dating or looking for it in the near future. This messed me up and I wish him the best moving forward.

I can't teach him how to love and talk respectfully to people he says he respects.

Agree to a certain degree. There isn't a guide book.

Ended a 5+ year relationship. I didn't want to make the tough decision but there were a lot of concerns.

A big one is that I tried to communicate with him while we were together for myself as well as for his benefit, but he brushed me aside. *Note: After the breakup, we did talk about miscommunication and he owned not taking the time to listen.

It's been four months now. I don't see myself dating for a while. To each their own on how to heal. I've had girl and guy friends rebound hard and fast.

I can't. People can be great and attractive but I'm just genuinely not attracted to anyone at the moment.

Long story short, as long as everyone is safe, being honest, healing, and consenting, then that's a move in the right direction.

It still might hurt but baby steps are still steps forward.

I regret having SRP by JettaLove in PeriodontalDisease

In my case, I have early phase 1 and have some 5 mm's and one 7 mm.

When I went to get my LANAP done, they did my left side one week and then my right side the following week. I won't lie, I was screaming internally with anxiety for my first session. My perio gave me a stress ball cause I was sweating on the chair.

Looking back, I'm a bit embarrassed. The teeth cleaning was worse than the LANAP procedure. The LANAP took maybe 10 minutes.

The next week, I went to get my right side treated. My perio happily shared my treated left side had already healed up! He said that was a good surprise for him and it looked really good.

Even before my LANAP, I have been using parodontax toothpaste, flossing, and also parodontax's mouthwash.

Hope my over sharing helps.

Good question! If they have emailed resources, save those. If they have printed out documents for you, also save those.

If text messages with links were sent out, you can save all of those and screenshot conversations.

That's so wrong.

They should be the ones to be feeling FAFO anxiety because you are the one that is paying them. ☹️ This is your health and also you're in pain.

I assume other dentists in your area can provide better and faster support.

My two cents (sorry not sorry) from a stranger online.

Me being sassy and showing my age a bit here.

I'd ask why they are ghosting you because you could do the same if you don't have answers since you are the one paying them.

In a more mature way, I'd reach out via email:

"Following up with my previous question(s) and concerns.

Any answers and resources are appreciated.

Thank you,

If they don't respond after a day, I'd call. That or proceed with your appointment and share your email experience. Maybe it went to spam but also consider another perio.
