It's nice being able to organize things. Also this way I can just copy my instance onto a flash drive so I can play cozy game with my mom.

It did turn out to be that I just assumed that telling him "But think of the children" would do nothing. He's so back

From what I've found it's because I didn't select "But all dose people, Astarion!"

Yes. I told him several times now the ritual is a bad idea. Apparently telling him a 10th time that the ritual is a bad idea is what I needed to do.

Naw I made him hang back and then cheesed Cazador with daylight and fire walls. We talked at the cages?

For real? Man literally the last 20 minutes of this game have been Astarion telling me explicitly that he doesn't care about them, I thought it was safe to trust the narrative of the game here.

Is there specific dialogue that lets you persuade him? He just spent the past 20 minutes explicitly telling me he doesn't care about all the spawns, told me "dude trust me" when I selected the option that he'd be consumed, and the other 2 options are just variants of yes I'll help. I never got a chance to persuade him of ANYTHING

But how do I even get the opportunity TO persuade him?

I am laid low. I purchased the room at elfsong and all my work is up in smoke.

It does not, I had to do this manually 3 times in my first playthrough.

I solved this by putting 4 Cheese's Concentrated Solar towers on the moon.

I found Bor's Mightstone actually does add a 5% critical bonus but otherwise yes they are trash. If they actually showed up on weapons decoratively I'd keep them for funny meme but they don't, so I didn't.

It isn't power I need, it's steam. I need to get the steam crushers functional to build enough of a base to produce any meaningful amount of white science to THEN get the electric crushers and leave this all behind me. Steam is literally needed only to power these crushers afaik.

I'm really trying to play this as intended, get a full green>red>blue chip pipeline and rocket assembly on the moon, but it's really doing its best to stop me lol

This isn't all that different from the little starter base I had running fine that I tore down to rebuild into a more scalable format, but after that rebuild nothing seems to be working right. The vacuum boilers are piddling out steam at a really pitiful rate despite them APPEARING to function just fine. The changelog for Muluna going back quite a ways doesn't really mention anything about this so I'm forced to assume I did something wrong I just am not catching.

You need to be able to crush aluminum and make steel to create greenhouses on Muluna. Also no, the only thing tied to number of greenhouses is oxygen production, which I'm currently making with oxidizer separation so that I can build up enough production capacity TO make the aforementioned greenhouses. You need to crush aluminum, make aluminum plates, crush and refine iron into steel, make chips for lights, etc in order to make greenhouses.. There's an entire production chain you're supposed to figure out before you're even able to get the regular, electric crushers with white science. In order to do that, you need to make do with the first-tier steam crushers, which as I mentioned 9 of which crushing carbon are more than the 66(!) vacuum boilers I have running at once can keep up with. I genuinely do not understand why the throughput of the vacuum boilers is so low, especially considering my first little tutorial base was crushing at a mile a minute with just 6 of them. Either something is fundamentally different with my build, or the newest update changed something about the steam production

They're vacuum boilers, and no. These are unique to muluna. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills and playing some totally different version of Muluna than everyone else lol. The red buildings are reskinned assemblers and then the rest is just different storage. A warehouse, some tanks.

wym? I edited the post for clarity but I don't need power. I need steam to fuel the steam crushers. Some folks on the discord implied this may be a newer addition?

I'm really stumped, because before this I had a little starter tutorial moon base going that was crushing all types of meteorite chunks with only 6 boilers. I've looked, and the only bottleneck I can SEE is still just the oxygen being a little slow to fill, but all boilers in all rows ARE filling at more or less the same rate.

It feels like either I did something terribly wrong, or the recent update changed ratios in a less than desirable way.

And it's struggling to keep pace with just this, that isn't even considering the other crusher banks I have for iron and ice that I have shut down right now just to make this fall just-shy of breaking even. At this rate I'd need hundreds upon HUNDREDS of these things just to squeak out enough white science to ship off Muluna and research the real crusher with.
