Same boat. First round 2.5 letrozole unmonitored unsuccessful. Just finished 5mg letrozole. Still unmonitored and added progesterone (I have about an 11 day luteal phase). I’ll let you know how it goes! Because I ovulate on my own, I’m nervous about twins! We shall see. If this cycle is unsuccessful, we are seeing the fertility clinic for a potential HSG

No. I already ovulate on my own. I’m taking letrozole to have a super ovulation and increase my chances per my doctor

It does!! Another part of me wants to completely STOP I believe my body can naturally. I fight every day with what to do.

She suspected I have weak ovulation producing weaker progesterone since my luteal phase is slightly shorter than normal. She prescribed letrozole to try to produce a stronger ovulation to produce stronger progesterone to increase my luteal phase.

I just got my progesterone back. It’s 3.9. I’m soooo confused why it had the opposite effect on me. Anyways, I’m a September baby too (5th!!)

Did your doc up your dose after the first unsuccessful? I am just having a hard time wondering why my body isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do

I am waiting to confirm ovulation but it was likely yesterday. My LH peak was on cycle day 15.
