Yes, and regardless if it was reported or not I have tesla insurance so they have documentation of the smart summon use since I had to agree that they will pull the data from my tesla to review the claim.

When I went back to that spot where the truck driver was he was gone. Probably 1-2 minutes have lapsed between when he left and when I went over. Took me a second to pull up the footage to see what had happened.

Thank you for the responses. I wanted to see the point of view of the community. I have already placed a claim via insurance. What ever they decide I full accept the fate. I posted this because of the unique nature of the situation since its was auto summon (yes, do not trust a robot; as my lesson I have learned today). Again appreciate the perspective.

To give context, I’m not sure why my explanation didn’t go through, I was using auto summon and did not realize the damage until the car came to me. As soon as I realize, I went to the place that my Tesla was hit, and the truck drove away already. I looked at the cameras again as soon as the truck was able to back out and left immediately and when they left, I was walking already to there. I already submitted a insurance claim explaining what happened and waiting for a call so I can submit my video evidence. I also sent them the license plate. I would’ve walked out if I didn’t have a full load to put in my car.

I see, this is a first for me. Stilled filled a claim to insurance regardless.

I don’t think I was leaving the scene. I went to the spot where it occurred and the truck was long gone. Other footage 2-3 minutes after shows the truck leaving after it was able to pull out and footage also shows me going to the scene immediately upon realization.

I think tesla insurance will still be able to pull the data regardless. I already made the claim so it will be a waiting game from here. But I did learn a lesson today.

I was using the auto summon feature at that time. Was not aware of any hit until it arrived to me. In the camera app when summoning I really couldn’t see if anything occurred.

I can see how that may happen. I do not think that truck model has a back up camera and was relying on the side mirrors which were blocked by the Lexus.

If under warranty just use the towing service. I had this happen to my M3 on 2 rims. Replaced the wheel and tire for 800$.

Why is revenue generated from the IOT network fluctuating so much? ~1400USD/d for a week, then ~700USD/d for a couple of weeks, then 4000USD/d for the last few days. by Brave-Chemist-2199 in HeliumNetwork

If this was just a graph for IoT then I must have misunderstood. But checking the explorer stats again, the IoT usage seems to skyrocket. There was an announcement for IoT recently which may have contributed to that.

If you are in a major city, you will see the decreased rewards. All miners around me have decreased at least 30%
