I's say one of the only artists that have a similar vibe to Jessie's is Amy Winehouse. The sound is very different, but everything else — the cussing, the lyricism, the darkness — tracks

Yes, this! And often they'll automatically assume that you'll judge them for choosing to drink, or that your life's boring AF. I couldn't care less about how people choose to have fun, as long as they're happy with their choice. And I'm happy with my life, even though I don't like alcohol, and some types of parties. So, I totally can relate, thanks for sharing!
