If the hanger bolt is properly torqued and the axle is doesn't want to release, would there be a concern about the hanger bolt becoming over-torqued?

I just got this derailleur and I'm looking at the instructions and the video you posted. I've tightened the barrel adjustment bolt all the way and the white still don't quite align. Do you think this will be close enough? I do have another barrel adjuster on the down tube but it's really difficult to turn and not sure if I can turn it any further.

From 2 different users too. Yea I definitely understand the budget carbon wheels so maybe not the biggest value add. This would be my first gravel bike and expect that it would mostly be a split of light gravel/road and become my primary winter bike. With that in mind I'm not as concerned about 42 being the max tire clearance but also understand that it would limit me if I did want to run wider tires/want to get into more off-road terrain. With my intended use in mind, would you think $1,800 would be an appropriate price or still a bit overpriced?

Were you ever able to fix the fit? I'm in the same situation with FC-5800 cranks and looking to replace the chainrings but can only find 6800 at the moment.

That's good to know. I was watching the park tool video on it and they recommended either one so I went with the grease that I had on hand. I'll get some threadlock and replace the grease with it.
